  1. Classy move. Will he be at Holmes for Bolden's senior year?
  2. Thus my point "don't take this wrong". No I am not related to wawa. I think it is fair to state he is going in against a stacked deck and I am sure Cal explained that to him. If education and fulfilling a dream are his goals then I am very happy for him. If actually playing beyond college his his goal then he should have chose WKU. Trust me I hope he can be the next Darius Miller as that is what Kentucky was missing this past year and could use each and every year with the freshmen classes Cal will be signing as long as he is here. I hope his senior day at UK is part of a push to another NCAA run and I will be in tears of joy for him and all the seniors on that special day.
  3. Don't take this wrong. I am happy for the kid and I understand his decision. However, I hope I am wrong but I do not see much pt over his four years at UK. He is in a little over his head.
  4. There is a reason they have not signed on yet. We will see who is playing significant minutes on a D1 team next year. Who is we? Did you play?
  5. No disrespect to Hawkins but he needs to look elsewhere if he wants playing time. Harrison twins would run circles around him. Randle signing today completes their class unless their is a transfer.
  6. He will learn to go right more. He has probably never had to up until this year. Besides going left has been a disaster for our country these past five years.
  7. I lived down the street from Greg in Taylor Mill. Great athlete. His late father was a task master and drove Greg to be a good player. Hanging out with Greg one day and his dad asks if I want to go with Greg to play at the boys club for Coach Hurst. Greg dominated most guys in that league averaging double-double easy. I dominated cracking jokes on the end of the bench and barely reached double figures for the year. My fellow bench warmers and I did get to play a lot as there were many a blow out wins for "da club".
  8. Great stuff Walter. That camera is the best gift Holmes fans on BGP have ever received.
  9. I played for Coach Hurst. Remember a tourney at Cov turners we were getting jobbed in and coach getting fired up at the refs and Corky getting into a fight with some good ole turner's boys up on the track. Good times.
  10. Dicky moonlighted with several teams. I played on the KC Boys Club with Greg Kordenbrock and remember Dicky and Ricky Walton coming along for a tourney in Dayton OH. I certainly didn't mind being moved farther down the bench after bringing home that trophy.
  11. From that standpoint all is good. I think he is talented enough to play at a higher level than the Colonial league. Hopefully he can be on a bracket buster team someday.
  12. Saw him at 10th region final OPrew very impressive. Surprised he is not reconsidering William and Mary.
