  1. When they came to watch him last week he was playing center field. I believe they weren't interested in him as a catcher. Congrats Storm you deserve it!
  2. Pitching looked good in scrimmage yesterday against Harrison. Jar Price, Heath Ehrsam, Cody Carrender, and Andy Manning seen time on the mound. Alex Lange injured his knee in the scrimmage. I pray it is nothing serious and he will be back soon! Somerset won 6 to 4.
  3. I confirmed he was getting fired before I mentioned it to anyone. I had received a phone call informing me of his firing and I went and spoke to Craig myself. I really hope that he isn't getting fired and that the school staff did listen to everyones concerns and support for Craig.
  4. It looks like there is a chance that Lincoln high athletic director and principal are firing Craig Yeast this week. Quite a few of the parents went this morning and met with the superintendent. Craig is offending people is the reasoning they were given. Some of the football boys have even written letters to the sup and are trying to collect more to give to him this week. The upcoming freshman team has 20 boys already working out and there will be more to join once spring sports are over with. They are very excited to be playing under the new staff and the thought of losing Craig is really bothering a lot of these boys. I hope they listen to all the phone calls they are getting and emails regarding Craig.
  5. I watched a lot of games this weekend and one thing I noticed was the injuries. It seemed that it was a "no blood no foul" kind of weekend. I know one boy looked like he had broke his arm. It was the game just before Lincolns on Saturday. I want to say they were playing against Grant on court 1. There was the bloody nose on Scott County. Chris Luster on our team hurt his thumb in a game Saturday. I am sure there are more. I wasn't impressed with the refs. We were told they are used to high school and college. Well these boys aren't in high school or college and some calls weren't called that should of been. I think it would of saved the boys from injuries. I was very impressed with some of the talent there this weekend and really enjoyed watching the games and talking to the boys from different teams. Everyone we talked to was so respectful. It was a fun weekend. Of course I would of liked to see LCMS in the championship game
  6. No excuses.. The boys were tired. They played last night and was ahead by 30 and the coach still had the starters in through the third period. Tonight it was mainly starters the whole game. They played hard... Lexington played harder.
  7. Lexington Cath beat Lincoln in ot 29 22. Lincolns record now 30-1
  8. Looks like we are finally going to start playing basketball again! Lincoln starts this weekend at Boyle county tournament. We haven't played in several weeks so it will be nice to see the boys back on the courts.
  9. This week is the Ky show. My daughter tried out for the show there. She also tried out in Phillie the year before. We always have fun people watching. You can tell when the producers are burned out. They don't listen and just push people through. Could you imagine sitting and listening to that many people? Man oh Man. I enjoy watching the expressions when they get turned away. I liked the guy that was on the second night... the one whose wife had passed. He and his friend were both good. LOVED the blind guy. Jason Castros brother was ok. Oh and the bikini girl... Yeah that was interesting. Sorry guys she couldn't sing. The guy with the deep voice.. he needs to be in movies.. I am standing outside your window....
  10. I believe you are right. They did have some nice 3's.
  11. Lincoln 8th grade scores from the LCA tournament... I can't remember which teams it was against. 56-17 46-37 44-20
