I was hoping his injury was not bad enough to require surgery.

He had surgery two weeks ago and will be out 4-6 months.

Only 1 or 2 of the 11 runs were earned.

Pitched 3 innings, 5 strike-outs and gave up 7 unearned runs due to errors.

Cocoa Beach is always good to get some games in some nice weather early in the season. Its good for the players to get the opportunity to travel and get noticed by someone who might never even travel to ky.

I'm gonna go with Ashland on this one. But a farely close game.

There were 4 games. Russell beat East Carter, Boyd beat Greenup, Ashland beat Lewis and Raceland beat Rowan.

Danny Jones is another returning Varsity starter from last year. Talented young man that gives 110% in everything he does.

See what hurt the Rams last year was injuries. Now if we can keep these three healthy we should be fine with the help of young talent coming up in relief. Does anyone know if Rister or Barr pitches?

I agree with this completely. What this would do it would just give players of smaller schools the opportunity to compete against schools their own size. to kind of see how they match up against some1 in their own "market".
