To put things into perspective, Trimble wanted it more. Carroll, coaches and players, allowed external influences to play a major role. I don't think we should say Carroll is or isn't good. One thing to factor in is that this truly is only ONE game. It was a good solid win for Trimble and a bad solid loss for Carroll. Please don't let this be the SuperBowl for Carroll County. Cal is coming up and redemption is possible. Put a period on it and MOVE ON!! Live and Learn.

I know this may be naive view, but, in all districts (I am not singling out Trimble), shouldn't teaching jobs be based on classroom performance and not field performance?

I probably am going against the rules by saying this, but....missing the Class A Tournament for a Spring Break Trip does not show commitment to a team. Everyone that has played any baseball knows that your Spring Break will be spent on the field. I would much rather have a slightly less naturally gifted player that has twice as much commitment to the team, than someone who is going to choose to leave for a vacation during the Class A Tourney. I applaud the coaches for their stance on this issue
