I hear that Scott Russell @ Knox Central has intrest..

I agree with stick1. I feel they can be a top 10 4A team if they stay healthy. I think the real key to the future of KC football lies with the addition of young coaches Kevin Napier and Chris Hubbard. Coach Mills knows talent and from what I've been told these two young men will make a difference in the future of KC football. Several players tell me they bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. Knox Central should be proud to have those two young men. My family and I would like to wish good luck to KC football family for the 2010 season. Is it true that Lynn Camp will be gaining several of Corbin's starters for next year due to the Knox Co. Board of Education not signing the agreement for students who live in Knox Co. School District? Several people tell me that Dave Mithchell may be setting on a gold mine and may be considered one of the favorites in Class A football state champions.

The 13th regional freshman tourny was held yesterday (2/7). First rounds were held at Knox Central and Barbourville. With the semi-finals and finals held at Knox Central. Knox Central won it by beating South Laurel in the finals. There were 10 teams in the tourny. First round Clay beat Lynn Camp....Bell beat North. Second round Corbin beat Pineville....Knox beat Bell......South beat Middlesboro......Clay beat Barbourville. Semi-finals....Knox beat Corbin....South beat Clay. Knox beat South in the finals. Great tourny.....would have been better if all the teams would have been able to participate.
