My reason for saying we need the entire basketball team is this whole bunch is the most athletic,longest group of kids we have had at MC in a long time. I have been impressed with their hands and feet and watching MC football some last year I feel like this was all they were needing to take them to Louisville this year and the athletes are there.Lincoln Co. is a great example of this. Their top 4 basketball players are leaders on the gridiron and their program is sniffing up I-64 as we speak.

Yes he can fly, but needs to work hard this spring and summer. MC still needs Cody Curtis at running back, and the entire basketball team all in uniform.

When your team pays the head coach six figures for what he does , gets violations, backs out of games. You better have all the answers.

I have seen both players play basketball, both are good players and will carry them next year ,you are correct. With the size of these two, the wing span, the jumping ability, the foot speed, playing football next year they could carry Montgomery football to the next level, and carry themselves into the all-state ballots. Both great athletes they can play football and basketball next year with great success. 6'3 to 6'4 strong and quick at skilled positions at the next level in football are much more attractive to big time division 1 schools than the same physical stats in basketball at division 1 schools. Anyone who knows anything about these 2 sports at the next level knows this.

I know tons of people that have been turned away at Mason the last 39 years. Get there early support your team. Get there late its your fault, tune in your radio,go to Berrymans get a hot dog,fill up with gas,drive home and gripe at your wife for making you late.

Who is in line to replace the Hovermale kid who kicked for Montgomery Co.? He was solid all year at all the kicking positions.

Hood is definately the best junior in the state,but he wont stay there if Davis is the coach next year. Rumor is Coach K, and Donavan both want him to attend prep school next year, and his dad says it is his decision.

Is James Davis ever going to quit coaching at Madisonville? Has as much talent as in team in the state but I hear parents and players are ready for a departure. Has anyone else heard this in Western Ky.?

I don't think your o-line numbers are correct and they had a freshman QB step in last year after Curtis was injured. Who did a great job for his age and experience. I think they were 3-1, while he was at the helm. You are right in saying that they need guys to step up this year, but I think every program can say that from year to year and even game to game.

Montgomery County just needs to keep doing what they have been since the current coaching staff has been in place.Excellent weight training,spring ball,and increased numbers. The feeder programs are on the same page now with the program, and the entire community is a buzz about MC football like never before. Coach Gooch & his entire staff, have more knowledge and work ethic than any before them and the program is going to continue to flourish.
