Except for Trinity a few years ago, Manual hasn't beaten any teams they were not supposed to beat, mainly Male, Trinity, and X. This season has been a bit of a carbon copy of last years, but the team wasn't supposed to be as good. Manual lost all those fast backs, big linemen and strong linebackers---33 seniors in all---and they haven't really missed a beat. This years team has a spirit, that showed after the Eastern victory, and has carried them to a good season. Manual has been on the cusp of climbing up the big three's level and the team knows that this is the last chance for this season. Manual can and will put it together this week. It's been a long time comming and I for one can't wait.

How many kids did they have in uniform? In my past experiences they each dress about 120. That's a lot of kids to play.

Revenge for Saint X. 21-17

Manual played well on Friday night, as did Meade County. This Manual isn't a talented as last years, but there is something about them that last years team didn't have. Maybe a spirit of togetherness or youthfulness. They seem to be having a good time when on the field and are fun to watch. Go Rams

Manual suprised me last night. They look fluid and quick. They stopped the run and the defensive backs made some good plays. Height matchups at the corners may be an issue in some games. The O line did a good job of getting out on the run, the backs found the holes, and the QB could throw a long ball without getting a lot of air under it. I think they will be fun to watch this year. :thumb:

Manual wins this game but will need a lot of improvement and luck to play with the big's this year. But i do know this Manual team has a ton of heart and when a football team plays with heart anything can happen...Manual 26 Eastern 14

X wins this one fairly easy I believe, I saw WC play earlier and while they are a solid team their lines are not nearly strong enough to compete with X. The only shot they have is if their LB's(very fast and strong) can contain the X backs. But that is a tough thing to do.

St. X will win the game and in the end will play Trinity for the 4A final. Ho Hum

Why be so defensive? Can't KJ Black, and others, get some accolades without people turning it around as not a vote for a good player, but a vote against Trinity or some others school.

This is the last chance for the Manual seniors to beat St. X since they were freshmen. Manual has the talent to win the game, but do they have the motivation? St. X has been considered the best team in the state all year. They have huge numbers, and huge linemen, plus a strong running game. Manual is also fast and strong and have improved a lot in since the last time the two teams met. This game may come down to who wants it the most. Manual has nothing to lose here in the eyes of most of the folks on BGP. I say they will come out loose and fast, build a lead, and protect it in the 4th quarter. Manual 21 St. X 17

Rumor is that Trinity is looking at the PRP coach. They think he can beat ST. X.

The Male QB is, I think, the best in the region. And Male is one of the best teams. JH is kinda an unknown in Louisville. I don't think anyone from this area, expect PRP has played them. We all know what happened in that game. Male can be made to put the ball on the ground and throw an interception or two. If JH has a good passing game they can do some damage, but it will be a tall order to beat Male. I wish I could go.
