It's the Clash of the Cats! Logan County and Russellville is always a great rivalry game, though this year's edition appears to be a mismatch on paper. Last season this was the game that let people know that what they were seeing in Logan County was real, as the Cougars got the W 28-21. They enter this game at 3-0, just like a season ago. They're averaging 53 PPG and have already posted two shutouts. Russellville is 2-1, but their last game was a 17-13 decision against a Butler County team that Logan County walloped 57-0 in Week 1. Do the Panthers have any shot against Logan County?

Franklin renews its oldest rivalry in the 75th meeting between the Wildcats and the Russellville Panthers. The two teams have met every year Franklin-Simpson has played football, though the series has not been as competitive recently. Franklin has won 23 of the last 28 meetings, including five in a row. The last competitive game was in 2014 (a 21-20 Franklin-Simpson victory), and this year looks to be a complete mismatch. The Wildcats have won six in a row and are 8-1 on the year with their lone loss coming to South Warren. They have put a running clock on their last three opponents. Russellville is just 4-5, and have only 31 players on their roster. With a loss here, they will have to win their region in order to avoid their first losing record in 14 years. How bad does this get?

Another week, another Franklin County win, and they've settled in to that #4 spot in our rankings. Their latest victim was 5A Woodford County by a 56-35 margin. This week they take on rival Frankfort, which has not had an easy go of it. They've started 0-3 after last season's strong 10-3 campaign. Last season, this contest was a tooth and nail 22-13 result. Do the Panthers have any hope of hanging with the Flyers?
