The Golden Eagle offense is rolling now, topping 43 points in each of their last two games, and knocking off previously unbeaten Moore 49-21 last week. This week they open district play on the road at Boyd County. Boyd suffered a 49-0 blowout loss at Russell last week, and enters at 2-2. Johnson Central rolled 58-0 a year ago, they haven't allowed a score by the Lions since 2015, and they've won ten straight matchups since Boyd County's last series win in 2002. Suffice it to say, this is a mismatch. How bad does this get?

The freight train continues as the Golden Eagles are 4-0 again after a 44-8 pasting of Harlan County. This week they enter district play, visiting Boyd County, fresh off their first loss in a 37-0 shutout by Russell. A season ago this went.... pretty much the way you'd think this one is probably going to go, as Johnson Central won 59-12. Still, the Lions are enjoying a bit of success this year - could they pull a real shocker? :scared:

Let's not sugar coat this - Johnson Central is a huge, huge, HUGE favorite. Does Boyd have any shot to pull a David against Goliath?
