Now that is not really fair is it? To lump such a wide group together under one general and incorrect heading. You must have missed many of the posts which discussed "respect for the opponent."

I did see your post and thats why i said MOST T fans not all! and everyone else who said talk smack back thats not what im about. I love high school football and i stick behind my alma mater. I didnt and wont predict a Boone Co. win all i hope is they keep it close which im not even sure they will do but i do know they will come in with their A game and they are gonna need it..... Good luck friday night to both teams!

O btw Trinity facilities are gorgeous the past few times i have been there!

  2. I'd love to see Boone win but i tell ya they have to pass more than they have in the past few weeks! I don't think they can just run run run and run more. I did pick Boone in the poll but thats my heart picking, I just hope they can keep it close. Good luck BCHS! Would be awesome to knock the Rocks off like Dixie Heights did a few years ago!

  3. I saw Boone on television versus Dixie Heights and was impressed by the passing attack and runing game. If Mr. Hauck had thrown the ball just a little....sorry for the flashback....I did not see Shelby this season. I did see them the past few with Matthews. I like Boone County at home in a high scoring game. Rebels 49 - Rockets 42.

Mr hauck throw the ball? HAHA boy do i remember those days! Boones QB has been off the past few weeks on the pass over throwing alot of recievers! I'm a little worried about the passing attack of shelby though. our dbs arent that big. How big are the recievers for Shelby? and the O-line? Boone seems to be getting pressure on all the qbs so far in the playoffs!

  4. Raiders will prevail and if the game is a two TD spread (in Boone's favor) see me with a PM and I will treat you to dinner. Ryle took serious control of game 1 in the fourth quarter if you want to be an honest assessor of that game. Boone hung on for their dear lives.

I agree with Boone hanging on for their dear lives, but if #24 would of picked the ball off that he let go through his hands Mo would have been back to the rebels. I know i was sweating anyone that graduated or goes to Boone Co. hates losing to Ryle! Hope the boys come out to play as much as i would love to see a Boone blowout i dont think its going to be anything but a close game.

  5. BCFan, the home and away status looks like it changes each year. You are correct that Ryle actually hosted 4 playoff games last year. If I am reading the KHSAA site correctly, the higher seed hosts in round 3 so BC would automatically host if they win. Since Ryle is a #2 seed and either Madison Central (#2 seed) or Shelby County (#4 seed) will advance, it looks like Ryle would also host if they win based on the wording of "lower numbered district in odd years" if two teams meet with the same seed. Ryle/Boone are district 6 and Madison Central/Shelby are district 8. I am not 100% sure that Ryle would host since I am not an attorney  but I am 100% sure that Boone would host if they win.

Thank you luv! good luck to your raiders this week! I'm sure it will be a hard fought game. First time these two teams have ploayed each other in the playoffs! If ryle does win bring a state title home for NKY. Geeze i sure hope someone in nky 6a will one day.....

  6. Winner of this one gets to host a 3rd round playoff game and has the inside track to a potential semi-final date with the Rocks!!!!!!!!! Should be another good game.

If Boone Co. wins would they host a 3rd round game being the 1 seed and the 1 seed in that region being out? or do we still have to travel? I asked because i remember last year seemed like every team traveled to Ryle until the state game so i have been quite curious.....

  7. Let's list some of the largest "turn-around's" from the Regular season game and the Playoff game between two teams.

    Example:

2004 Reg. season: Dixie 31 Boone Co 20, Conner 42 Boone Co 6

    2004 Playoffs: Boone Co. 10 Dixie 7, Boone Co 38 Conner 6

I remember both these games although i remember the conner one more because the conner win in the regular season ended a long long losing streak to the rebels and to this day they havent beat us again since.....
