Greenup does have talent. It will take time, but it will happen. I do agree that the speed doesn't seem to be a strong point. Maybe going into a zone defense will work best, but the coaching staff and players will work it out. Season play is the place to work the problems out. Tournament play will show the real talent. Who knows may Greenup Basketball will have follow Greenup Football's lead. I hope not, because I would like to see some wins in the season, but when what counts happens, then you see teamwork and talent.

Greenup has a lot of talent on their team. It will take time for them to gel together. One observation that hasn't been addressed is the turnovers. A lot of the points Fairland scored resulted from turnovers. Fairland read just about every pass made. Greenup has to protect offensively, block out, and rebound. Smart defense and offense wins the game. One with out the other will always result in a loss.
