    Powell would have to be included in any top 10. They lost a lot, but that is too big of a school not to be one of the top 10 teams in the region.

    Owsley County's boys varsity basketball job is once again open. This will mean 8 consecutive seasons Owsley will end the season with a different head coach. WOW!!!!

    Yes they did. I just wonder who was responsible for getting those kids fundamentally ready. They had only been to the region 6 consecutive years prior to last season. With 4 district championships and 3 14th region runner-ups during that time, I would say that those kids knew how to play the game. -- I wonder if the same will be said for them a few years from now. Time will tell.
