UK, is BE expecting to get some players healthy for the playoffs or are alot of kids out for the year?
The injury situation isn't too bad. They were only missing a QB (who should be back next week), a kid who started at QB for a few games, an OL and TE who have been out all season, a backup RB and starting WR who has been out since the first game. It was worse but a little better now.

Yes. BE was using it's 3rd string QB tonight due to injuries and were actually down 14-10 going into the 4th quarter before the offense found their groove.
-
BE had 53 rushes for 447 yards despite Shelby Co. putting all 11 in the box (their alignments weren't too great).
-
Is it pretty likely that Bullitt East will host several playoff games? Dont know if their district is set yet.
If BE beats Shelby, then BE will host a 1st round game. After that, we will see how it goes.
-
North Bullitt had 48 yards of offense including 60 yards on one run (last second of 1st half scramble). No, I did not get the numbers mixed up.

Is this thread really necessary?

They answered the question that many of us were asking; congrats to Iroquois.
-
Not just next week, but the two weeks after that will definitely determine where they are at in their district. I think they are in that 11-15 range right now.

Bullitt East is down this year. People don't really know that because they played a close game with Boyle and have a terribly weak schedule. Boyle drop two touchdown passes in the 14-6 loss to Boyle game, if that would help change minds a little. Plus I heard they may be starting a frosh at center this week against Central Hardin because of "practice injuries."
No freshman center starting varsity for BE. The only freshman starting on the OL is at tackle and he has started the last couple games.

Would take a 3-0 Cooper (with a win over NCC) over a 0-3 John Hardin team.
-
Spencer Co.'s varsity has a few good athletes so it will probably be closer. Last time BE went to Taylorsville 2 years, BE laid an egg and lost 14-0, I believe. It is a rivalry from the old 8th region days and Spencer Co. loves to beat BE in any sport so BE better be ready to play.

Getting ready to post this score. Heard that it was 36-0 @ half.

3-0 for Shawnee and Iroquois. That's pretty awesome.
-
Agreed. They have always had athletes at Iroquois for basketball, but never enough for football. Glad they have started to put some wins up.
-
Way too early to assess this one.
Agreed.

Go for the PAT. Never go for two until you have to.
-
BE had 6 turnovers plus 25 penalties. Yes, you read that right. Reffing was atrocious. BE has a lot to clean up but several of the calls were mind-boggling; too many to list.
-
Final. A lot of penalties and a lot of turnovers. BE may have set the record for blitzes in a game. Nelson Co.'s QB will be very sore tomorrow but he stood in there and took a bunch of hits.
-
Freshmen: BE 48, CH 21.
-
Just as an FYI, BE has a very strong freshmen class as it maybe the best group of linemen they have ever had, in terms of talent and depth. As long as they work hard and stay together, good things will come. And yes, that class has some good athletes, too.

Game was called in the 2nd quarter after CH's QB was injured. Not sure of any stats.
-
I think John Hardin is 3 and Warren Central is 4. The rest seems fine.
John Hardin just lost to Seneca as they finished up their postponed game from Friday. That is not a good loss.
-
I agree Hoss, they have all their skill players back and will be their toughest test in my opinion also.
They might be; we will see in a few weeks.
Does John Hardin have a chance against Bullitt East?

I believe Elam was injured in the 3rd quarter. He was blocked about 6-7 yards downfield until he fell down; looked like he just twisted it wrong.
