Only team with a chance is Mercy in the 6th region. Mercy is stocked with MAVA girls that are well trained and coached. Everyone else will look like a middle school team compared to them.
But, Louisville and Lexington do have a few other teams that should be competitive. Manual in Louisville is always good and they have 4 very good KIVA trained players. In Lexington, Henry Clay should be good with two outstanding middles, one a KIVA trained player that plays with the Assumption girls in Louisville. Dunbar has a wonderful hitter - Katie Rose. Dunbar will be good. Lafayette has great defense, although they lost their stud hitter and setter combo - Welch and Wheatley.
NKY has NDA, ST. Henry, that are always competitive with the Louisville privates.
In the end, it will be Assumption. They have the best defense in the country and can pass the ball to the setter with total precision. Then, it becomes a foregone conclusion that their hitters will put the ball down. One of their hitters, Kaitlyn James, has committed to Nebraska.
