    I don't think they are afraid to take lumps from within the 14th region. They have a very good quality team and will be very hard to take out in the regionals. Many schools lost players last year in the 14th region, but not Estill County. The 14th region all "A" champions from 2006 (Jackson City) lost 5 seniors last year but still gave Jenkins a good run with a 6-5 loss. Jenkins came back strong full force. Cordia lost some key players. Hazard, Letcher and Leslie are also strong with good pitching. Lee, Breathitt and Powell are all sleepers in the region and should not be underestimated. Overall, Estill will be very hard to beat come region play.
