Below is a link to the pregame article in the Georgetown newspaper. Hicks said Gallatin was one of the top teams in the 8th region. One interesting side note is Gallatin County's football coach, Timmy Browning, grew up about 5 miles from Billy Hicks. They both graduated from Evarts High School.

The 12th is one of a hand full of regions you can win and not be very good. Look out for Wayne County this year.

How did he do against Singleton and Dunwoody High School? I know SC beat Dunwoody by about 30. Singleton was the guy UK was after until he signed with Florida State yesterday.
-
His best game may have been against Huntington, where he and Patrick Patterson guarded each other the whole game. Lee outscored Patterson 17-11 while Patterson outrebounded Lee 12-8. Lee seems to perform best in big games.

Kentucky Basketball Academy. They have a 50,000 sq ft facility that has 5 indoor courts. They sponsor youth and adult leagues. They also do volleyball. It's near New Circle and Nicholasville roads in Lexington.
I don't think KBA sponsors anything. I think they host the tournaments on a for-profit basis

Yep. But especially if nobody in the state beat them the year before.
-
Scott Co is still at the top until someone beats them.

I just heard on WKYT-TV that the Johnson Central football program was under investigation by the KHSAA. What are the issues of the investigation?

Talkin about the last couple of years as far as the Fifth Third.
There was a time in the late 90s that the 5th 3rd was a top notch tournament.

Now come on, you know the atmosphere in schools today. Athletics and not academics is what is going to get them a college scholarship.
Not true. I would guess that there are 30 acedemic scholarships awarded for every one athletic scholarship.
