West by alot. 20+.
-
South by ten because they are already up by that before the tip. If the game is at South that is.
-
in what one? winning the region? or an upcoming game?
-
Wireman you are the man. Right on the money. Scooterbob everyone is beatable including Rose Hill. 16th should have a great post season with 5 or 6 teams having a chance to go all the way. Ashland, Russell, Boyd, Rose Hill, Greenup, and Elliott all having a great shot. In no particular order by the way.
-
Actually PC has played 8 out of their first nine on the road. They have played Holmes, June Buchanan, Lincoln co. Dixie and Conner, Newport, Harrison Co. and Augusta at home. They Have Clark, Brossart, Mason, Montgomery, etc. all coming up later in the year. To say their schedule is not tough again is a uniformed comment. :irked:
-
To the tourney format why would you guys want to see the 64th at Rose Hill or Fairview. That would keep many fans from seeing great games. Why not have it at the bigger facilities?
-
Has Rose Hill played Cov Cath, Iroquois, Madison Central, and Mason? Has Russell? To say that Ashland's schedule is a joke is being uninformed. It is the toughest around. Does that mean Ashland is better than Rose Hill or Russell? No. But it does mean they play a legit schedule every year. Plus Boyd twice already. They have won 7 by the way not 6. Lost two at the buzzer but losses nonetheless. Right now it is all about getting better anyway. I believe Russell has played Raceland 3 times and Rose Hill Piarist and Bath. Cannot find those teams on Ashland's schedule except for Raceland once.

Guys Scheduling. Pay attention to who people are playing. 12-1 looks nice but when you are playing sub-par Class A Schools to get that record then play a power like Brossart that is what happens. Records don't matter, it is who you are playing to get better. Brossart's record is very legitmate because of the teams they have played. Definite three horse race in the tenth. Should be an exciting post-season in the tenth.
-
It is called scheduling. Who has campbel played versus who has Brossart played. No comparison. Brossart by alot.
-
Ashland wins 4th straight over a scrappy Johnson Central team without Mccarty. They play a tough Louisville Iroquios team tonight in the championship game. Ashland now stands at 5-3 on the season.
-
Wonder why Clark has not won a region since 1990? Also the Pendleton/campbell and pendleton/ brossart games were hard to beat for crowds. Pendleton/mason for that matter too. Mason/Fleming when Fleming was good and still in the tenth. :walk:
-
You guys are beautiful. Seriously do you have jobs?
-
It was a scrimmage game wasn't it? Did he not accomplish something in the tenth? Simms is a legit tenth region coach, but to imply Biggs was not,or to say he could have accomplished big things in the tenth is being misinformed.
-
If I was 6'8 I could dunk too.
-
Actually the ran it all night long on Offense. They shot 31% instead of 62%. Makes a difference. Style of play was the same execution was not. Ironton was the better team last night plain and simple. I agree with Rickyp you are never that bad after a loss or that good after a win. Long season ahead. :walk:
-
What times are the games wed. at Elliott? two games correct? should be two good ones.
-
You guys are comical. Scooterbob I usually don't agree with you, but in this case you are right that it is much to early to crown anybody. 1 game does not a season make. Seems like all the teams are off to a good start. Should be a great year in the 16th. Actaully I heard that Rock Hill beat Ironton in their scrimmage? Couold be wrong.
-
Could not agree more:D
-
Oh I forgot the finals appearance in 1996. Accomplishment?
-
actually Ashland has won at least 10 regional titles and at least one final four appearance since 1963. Is that not an accomplishment? I agree you don't have to go around telling everyone about it all the time. But it is there no matter what anyone says.
-
So Rose Hill has no banners or signs honoring their 03 team? You cannot blame schools for honoring their past. All schools should do it. It creates pride and school spirit. Ashland or anyone else should not be derided for that should they?
-
Isn't it a little early for all of this? None of these teams has even played yet have they? Let's see how things shake out for awhile. Then maybe we can all see who is right or wrong. Right now it is just conjecture.
-
Miller is capable of doing whatever he wants. If he keeps up that attitude on the court it could be another title for the Royals.
-
Sharp I agree with you. PC was able to knock down shots against Ashland which freed Belcher up somewhat. On nights this young team is not making outside shots they will struggle. On nights they do they can compete with most teams. Tale of two games I guess. Holmes is very good though. Mudd played outstanding against Ashland. If he did not at Holmes I can see how things snowballed. They rely on him alot. :sssh:
Brossart vs. Pendleton Predictions?

Winning streak is at 25. Dec. 03 was last loss at home. Tough one tonight though! Should be interesting. Brossart will be ready after losing 5 straight to PC. PC will play them tougher than expected though. The main thing Brossart has going for it is Jon "Mustang Killer" Elrod has moved on.
