Everyone keeps saying the District is at Ashland. It is my understanding it is Fairview's turn to host. Now they cannot have it there I don't think because of size, but it is their choice to have it where they want. I would not assume that it will be at Ashland. They could choose to have it at Boyd.

Pendleton 69 Brossart 61 that score was from 04 MCIT. Pendleton no Elliott and Brossart had Mcdole, Smith, etc. plus a certain 7 footer. That game started the current 6 game winning streak against Brossart. No Elliott in last year's game either. Give the 05 team some credit. They were great without Elliott. Did he make them better? No doubt about it.

Hard to believe there are no replies to this thread yet. I know NCC is big into football but they have had some nice B-Ball teams over the last few years. :confused:

Just an opinion here but RH needs to worry about their district first. There are 3 solid teams in there. Fairview has 4 starters back, Ashland and Boyd have 3 back, Boyd has Roger back. If they get out of the district then they can worry about Elliott co. Also Elliott has a tough team in their district that is not getting a whole lot of respect in my opinion in East Carter. They were very close to playing in each other in regional finals last year. They also have 4 starters back if I am correct. :scared:

What about Perry County Central?

The high school game should do everything the college game is doing including the 35 second shot clock. Move the line back as well. Same reason you have college prep academic courses. The job of high schools is to get kids ready for college both in academics and athletics (if the kid is good enough, obvisously not every kid will be) :ylsuper:

Where did Schlarman go?

Evansville is right across the river. A school over there would be wise to snatch him up.

Could not have said it better hoopsrbest. You need to look at guys that win year in and year out who are in the hunt despite not having the talent of the quote unquote "big schools". Lots of great coaches in this state.

Matt Thomas from Ashland plays on that team as well.
