We went to Fretboard Brewing in Blue Ash for the first time on Saturday. Not sure how often we would ever go back. A bit out of the way and nothing blew me away. Bartender was to concerned with during her taxes and chatting up the "regulars".

That's disappointing, the one time I was up there I really enjoyed it. It was early in the day though and we we're the only people so they treated us right.

A lot of students left after the halftime recognition. There were a couple hundred of them. Bad weather no shows on tickets sold were probably a majority. I'm with you guys--probably 2500 in the arena.

 

The game itself was a dud. NKU didn't shoot particularly well but still managed to open up a 25 point lead. Faulkner and Sharpe both played well in the same game off of the bench. If that can continue, they will be very tough to beat in conference.

Mason came in and changed the game. The first 10 minutes of the game we're brutal to watch.

The wife of one of the guys (KFC) posted something on her Instagram about him cheating on her while she was pregnant. I just saw a tweet about it, people are not taking it well. Not a good look for his brand or barstool in general. Don't get much worse than that. Should be interesting to see where they go from this.

I was talking with someone today about the much higher attendance potential at PBS. This person has a lot of knowledge about FCC and told me that FCC would make a lot more money at their own stadium despite it seating only 21,000.

True*. Berding said last week they would lose out on over 100 million by having their games at PBS and not a soccer specific stadium.

Is the MLS forcing those teams to build a soccer only stadium?

I'm pretty sure their owners own the stadiums.

Tough one for the Norse to let slip away, they were in control for much for much of the game. Solid weekend overall.
