I guess the big question then remains: IF they let teams play up in Class (i.e. 4A CovCath playing in 5A) will they let schools jump 2 Classes (3A Highlands to 5A) ?
I am under the impression that schools will be allowed to play up, including jumping two classes.

I wouldn't have a problem playing for a losing team year in and year out.. that shouldn't be the question.. The question is could you play for a school that doesn't seem to care about football. It would be extremely hard to play for a team such as Atherton which gets murdered every year in every aspect of football. How could you play for team that doesn't try to get better? Not saying it's the kids fault, but what about having support from your school and administration..
Shoudn't the ultimate goal be to have a winning season..
Many reasons are given for quiting or not playing. However, some simply don't have the character to play the sport. Some wan't to lie to themselves by giving reasons or making excuses. Some give everything they have no matter what situation they are in. Those are the individuals that get the most out of the sport, whether on a losing team or a wining team. "Their arrows will blacken the sky. Then we will fight in the dark."

If you wouldn't, then you are not a football player.

Believe me "free thinker" is just ought to stir up trouble..I don't think he even post's unless he thinks he has a chance of rattling someone cage or stirring the pot so to speak. :irked:
Thanks for the info. I was a little suprised by the comment.

Give some examples on why you don't think they have a chance in this game?
This is just an opinion, so take it for what it is worth. There are two reasons that I believe NCC should be a heavy favorite in this game. The first is that NCC has a very large defensive front that is well coach and disciplined. That is going to make it tough to score using a wishbone offense. The second reason is that Belfry will have problems defending a four wide offense in the begining of the season. They run two tights through doubles, therefore, their starting defense hasn't spent the practice time against this style of offense during the preseason. Most iron man running teams have problems defending the spread pass early in the year.

I think changing the time of the game for weather is a joke. This is football. Play at whatever time the game was originally scheduled.
Tell that to Henderson County. Too many kids have died to write off weather any longer.
Will Bourbon Co. Colonels Break Their Losing Streak This Year?

Kids read this sight. I would hate for the Bourbon Co. kids to be reading how they don't have a chance. Sooner or later they will begin to believe it. Keep your heads up Bourbon. Your hard work and dedication will eventually pay off.
