How could you not say this was a upset. I am not a East Carter or Russell fan, I was there for the second game. But I can honestly say that East Carter and Greenup should have been in the championship game. East is by far a better team than Russell. I think that East Carter can play Greenup a little better than Russell. The District chapionship game was a joke, I actually felt sorry for Russell on that night. The Regional championship game Russell came out playing a little better, but was still a mercy for Russell.

It will be hard for anyone in the region to play with North this year. They are they best I have seen this year.

If SK wants to get votes they need to get out in the state and play in some of the better tourn. Go to North or South Laurel, or go to Montgomery or GRC. You will not get many votes until you beat some teams that are getting votes.

I am picking GRC to win it this year. They have played very well at the end of the year

My vote goes to Allen. She is as good as I've seen in Ky.

Great game by Ashland. They have really good pitching. Those 3 seniors will be missed next year but I am sure that there will be 3 new ones to step right in there and continue Ashland's dominance.

It is hard to think of dominance when they have yet to win a region title. Even harder when there are teams in their region that they have not beaten in years.

I thought the 16th drew on Sat. morning.

Why not play baseball and softball on Wed. and finals on Thurs.

I agree 100%. Any one person that trys to dictate who is hired or fired other than the principal needs to be ousted.:thumb:

Unless the principal gives the authority to hire coaches to the AD. This is done in some schools. What is really wrong is for the AD to be accountable for a coach's action and be the one told to do the firing and then not have any say in the hiring.

I heard they played 3 varsity starters while 5 or 6 jv players did not get in the game. I was not there but was told this. Can anyone clear this up.

This is not speculation, there is "A" person at Russell that has Amy high on their list. She is not high on Russells list ! If she gets the job I hope she can encourage others to play because it won't be long before she won't have enough from within to field a team ! NOW, what they better do is talk Cassity in to taking the job before they self implode. PERIOD.

 

This is a very crucial decision and "A" person shouldn't be the majority.

"A" person may have a reason for wanting Amy. Russell would never hire a boy's basketball coach with no varsity experence. Treat the girls the same.

A lot of churches have requirements to be a voting member. When you join the local church you take an oath and agree to certain things. You may agree to tithe you may agree that you are not double married or do not use tobacco or that you believe certain things. If you swear to these things to become a member then you should expect to do them. If you don not agree then please pick a different church that believes the way you do before you join.

A letter was not the best way to do this.

I'll throw out some names I have heard Skaggs, Hunt, Walter, Horne, Morris, Bryan It might be better if parents parent and coaches coach so we can eliminate some of these.

I think if all the Dodd supporters leave neither one of them will be missed.
