  1. I am going to go with Lincoln by at least two touchdowns. South Laurel has had a problem stopping the run this year. They are going to be facing to backs that are just as fast and as good as the Mercer County backs they faced earleir this year, IMO. Lincoln is going to have to contain Bowling and play great in the secondary for this to happen. Bowling lit Lincoln up last year, but he was playing behind a much better line than it looks like he is this year. But he is very dangerous whether he is sitting in the pocket or scrambling.

  2. I agree with Lincoln county as a darkhorse, but they are a 4A team. They are in the same district with Madison Central and South Laurel. They have two great running backs with some speed who can break it on any play. With the way the distric is shaping up, they have a good chance of winning it and making a run into the playoffs, but I don't want to count my chinkens until they hatch. They will take one game at a time.

  3. Once Boyle enters district play, I think you will see a different record. It has been my experience that county schools go through a period of were the talent pool is at a much higher level then drops down. It is a cycle usually. More so than in city schools or private schools. Do not forget that during their run of state championships and even before they had some great players at quarterback. they had them not just at quarterback but other positions as well. When you loose talent like that it is hard to replace. But Boyle county has coaches that know what they are doing, with a great love of the game and the kids on that team. Do not loose faith yet Boyle.

  4. Yes, Edwards is a sophmore. He played really well in his first varsity start at quarterback. He has played some at wide reciever and safety this year but first time a quarterback. He handled himself very well in the game and threw some great balls that should probaly have been caught. His first varsity pass went for about a 25 to 30 yard touchdown.

  5. I watched the South game against Mercer. They are not close to the same team that they were last year. The biggest difference was in the line. The line did not play well at all. South's team from last year would have played Mercer a lot closer and possible won. Bowling is still impressive no matter who is around him.

  6. This is going to be a great game. The key for Lincoln is going to be the line play. They are going to have to have their best game of the the year to pull off the win. If they can, Lincoln should win. Miller and Calhoun are ten yards faster than anything Rock has on the field. Lincoln's passing game also seems improved this year. They are becoming a more all around team. The key though is going to be handling or maybe playing with the line of Rockcastle. Should they do this, Lincoln by 2 touchdowns.

  7. Do not let the score fool you to much on this game. Lincoln had 2 touchdowns called back on 2 very questionable calls. There was also another questionable call that led to a PRP touchdown. With that being said Lincoln did not play up to its best potential and made way to many mistakes. PRP is very good and have plenty of speed to give anybody playing them a headache.
