We are negotiating earnestly, honestly and fairly with MTV Networks, but so far have been unable to reach an agreement or get an extension.

 

MTV Networks may pull its channels from your lineup on January 1st.

 

• MTV Networks wants our customers to pay millions more. They are currently demanding price increases that are nearly triple the rate of increase under our current agreement. These increases would be excessive even in a strong economy, but given the current conditions, it’s simply not fair to our customers.

So I'm sitting here watching TV when all of a sudden a message appears along the bottom of the screen stating that tonight I'm going to lose 19 channels. I live in Ashland and have Time Warner Cable. I tried looking up information online about what's going on but could find nothing. Anyone know anything?

I saw this message also. It may be true, but my take on it is that it is nothing more than an advertisement for Dish Network or Direct TV. I would bet if you call the number that flashed across the screen you will be talking to a Dish Network or Direct TV associate.

If it does happen, like others have stated,I will also be making a change.

I would hate to see him leave Racealand, but Randy Vanderhoof would be an excellent replacement for Coach Damron.

Good to see the Rams get their first win. They did some good things tonight but must do a better job of taking care of the ball. Rams will continue to improve as the season moves forward.

The 1st girls game I've seen this year. 1st quater was worrisome. The 2nd quarter they came out and played a great game and never looked back.
