  1. I wanted to take time to say good-bye to my friends in Westwood who respected my right to remain annonymous, I spoke my mind and some adults could not handle it,I am reminded of Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men" Westwood "you can't handle the truth" I really like Fairview an I will miss her but, I can't keep posting with everyone blaming each other for being the Boss I will continue to follow from a distance in all sports but will not post on fairview football, Best of luck to the coaching staff and the players:cry:

I can understand how you feel that way.

  2. I believe we payed something like 30K. It is the same rubber pellets that is in the field turf. You let the grass grow to about 6 inches spread 1 inch of the pellets, water heavily to let the pellets settle to the ground, then let the grass grow and spread another 1 inch of pellets, and water heavily again. This gives you 2 inches of rubber below your grass and helps with drainage. Our field stayed in good shape last year, very little mud at all, and it gives the field a bouncy feeling. The pellets were spread using a golf courses manicurer.

This process was developed by Michigan State University.

I think Bourbon County is trying that this year.

  3. I can agree with that. Some people from different areas of the country tend to think a redneck is a racist and feminist. I don't see this as the case, like I said I think of a redneck as a good ol' boy. But, I guess it is a subjective definition.

In Bourbon County a redneck rides around in big loud straight pipe diesel trucks, they spit dip, drink beer, and they have stickers on their trucks that say, "If it ain't smokin, it must be broken".

They also have a really expensive dodge or duramax that they pull in super-stock truck pulls...

    Great stuff...
