Is it better for Kentucky football if Trinity wins or loses?

 

On one hand, Trinity is one of the premier football programs in the country. A win may give the state more National recognition.

 

On the other hand, a loss proves that it is possible for a school not named St. Xavier to beat them.

I think that about 98% of Kentucky high school football fans are pulling for PRP. They are sick of Trinity or X winnig every year. I included X fans in that 98%. But Highlands, and Bowling Green seem to be winnning every year. Central seems to winning regularly.

So it is probably better if PRP wins. However, Trinity is not running a mental health clinic.

Who wins & why?

This will be close game. I think PRP will win 28-21. PRP's offense is better than St X or Scott County. Trinity's offense has not jelled in two weeks and there is no guarantee that Quick will return.

PRP has the psychological advantage to win the State. It is hard for Beatty to keep Trinity up psychologiclly.

Just kidding. Trinity wins 35-21.

Glad to see Eastern get this far in tournament. I hope Eastern wins so Trinity can crush them in finals.

I'm actually going to pick SC in this one.

I think that SC may have tough time putting points on the scoreboard. X had one first down in second half and that is why Trinity won. Trinity 28 SC 14

All this talk of X having an emotional edge is really quite funny. The ROCKS know what is at stake here and would like nothing more to end Glasers career with a big loss. T has played several team a lot better than X this year and did quite well. ROCKS will roll on.

I agree that X will have no emotional edge on Friday. The players know that the series is tied 36-36-2 and Trinity has never led the series. The players know that the state championship is on the line. The players know that this is Glaser's last game.
