Thats true SL played a great game mostly pitching, but Powell was one error on the double play away from gettting out of the inning and South would have only scored 2 and a 2 to 0 game is a lot closer than 9 to 0. Do you remember the 14th region championship when powell came back from 3 runs down in the 7th with 2 outs if they can do that they can come back from 2 runs. Jmo

Powell only had one bad inning...and was a double play away from a 2 to 0 game. The Pirates will come out tonight ready to play and I think the series will go to 3 games. I still got Powell in 3. Coming back just like they have all year.

Well said, I think the Pirates will not be happy with just a 14th region championship.

Yeah they only lost one starter from last year and might make a run in the regional tourny.

What about Powell do they have a good team this year?

Yeah their bats do need to stay hot, but i think that Powell can make runs when they need them

Powell only made 1 error in the tourny. They are always solid on defense and have been hot of late hitting the ball, so it should make for a good 3 games.

the pirates had a great game and a great tourny...look forward to seeing them play in sectionals

I have to agree...powell has shown that they are a tough team to put away. They are a young and talented team that play with alot of confidence.
