I do know that it was Henry Clay and Dunbar's #2 teams. As for the other teams, I'm pretty sure it was their 1 teams.
Still, I dont know about Henry Clay's #2 team (I'd say their good), but Dunbar's #2 team I think shot a 330 at Eagle Trace. I just think those are real high scores by all teams on that golf course. But I can see how you can get into trouble if you haven't played there before. But thanks for informing us about it being their #2 teams:thumb:

Wow...those are some big scores for some good teams. The times I've played at MCC I didnt think it was all that hard.

Johnson for Powell is a great point guard. Who can handle the ball well under pressure and has the capability to lead his team to a regional title. Even though he might not be the best shooter he can pass to teammates that can can shoot like Dennis who is great behind the arc. Just give Johnson the ball and watch great plays happen.:ylsuper:

A kid that throws over 87 and has a good offspeed pitch like u said STRIKE3 is going to be a dominating pitcher.

I think Estill should be the #1 with Powell Close behind. I really think the Region Champ should be out of the 56th district this year.
:thumb: There is a very good chance of that happening.
-
Mt. Sterling is a tough course the greens are so hard. It seems like when you land it on the the ball just runs off the other side. A low score there will be impressive.
-
I'll take PCC, Powell and Estill and give the field. I think they are the clear cut favorites based on what I have seen.

Bell usually has a good team at Wolfe that will be able to compete in the region
-
Estill County will be the team to beat. Not sure what Powell lost, but Estill only lost one off of a pretty good team.
:thumb: This sounds good, but Powell will be able to fill the spots they will be something like the team they had last year and have the capablity of winning region along with Estill, Perry and Leslie

jahearme, are you going to post the complete results or a link? Looks like a heckova field and it would be interesting to see how some of the best in the state, stack up as we near the regions and state?
Yah, it would be nice
-
Lee lost every one including there coach for them to be in the top 5 in the region is saying alot. They have alot of improvement ahead of them if they want to compete within the 56th. If your looking at players lost Estill and Perry benfited the best with both of them just losing one or two players. I'd say Estill, Powell, Perry, and Leslie will be the top 4 then Hazard or Letcher rounding out the top 5(Both teams have good coaches that can get their team up heading in the right direction)

Is there a website where you can see the results? When do you think you will get the full results?

I'd like to start a thread dedicated to helping players. Twice a week someone can ask about a problem with fielding, hitting, pitching, or anything baseball related. And then coaches or baseball guru's can help them out a little.
I'll start with hitting.
Switch hitter has a problem hitting curve balls while batting lefty. He has more power on the left. Any drills to help this batter out?
I dont know the answer to this question I just wanted to say I think this is a good idea espically when baseball season starts kicking up around Feb. this might answer some questions.:thumb:

Not sure what the entire results were but I know Estill won. One estill player, Tyler Noland shot a 65 and another one, Aaron Morrison shot 66.
Yeah I heard that was great scores by those two boys. I do believe also that Estill County won this tournament. I believe there was only about 7 or 8 teams in it just wondering the rest.

He helped them some last season. I think he will be a good college coach in the future. He did a lot for JBS. They struggled some, but you could see the improvement. Besides he didn't have a whole lot to work with.
Yes he did do alot and really improved that JBS team.:thumb:

I find nothing wrong with it at all. It is part of the game, as long as it doesn't cross the line of good manners. In fact, I wish more teams would chatter it up. Far to quiet on the diamond this past season to suit me......
:thumb: Well said:ylsuper:

Come to think of it, he may have two other kids. I had forgotten about them since I only see the least one. I believe you are correct.
Yup :ylsuper: I think so.

Gene's son is staying with my son; in the same 3rd grade class!!!!!!!!!!!! His son, however, put one over the fence in pee wee last year and is a hoss. His mom told me yesterday he is 5'5" already. When he is in the 10th grade he will be a jock of all trades.
He has a son that is in High School right now doesnt he. Played second base for them last year I think and batted like 8th or 9th, and I have heard of his younger son the one you are talking about.
-
Is Gene's son going with him to Montgomery Co. He is like in 10th grade or something isnt he?
-
Does anyone know the results from the Estill Co. Tourny on saturday??

Florida killed our Offensive Line in the second half. The boys looked good in the first half but they didnt show the intensity the second half.
