Carroll County by 5!! Too much Yager in this one!!

I think I would like to see Carroll win this one, however they haven't been playing well this year. I think Yager is a nice player however he hasn't played up to his potential yet this season. Should be a good game.

Any thoughts about tonights game between Carroll and Walton?

I dont think Jones is underrated. Didn't he win coach of the year in the 8th not to long ago? Over the past 6 or so years Gallatin has always been one of the favorites in the A.

And a contender in the region a couple of years. People may not like him or agree with him but I don't think he is underrated at all.

Well in Gator's defense, IMO I think she played better last year. I think she would be a lot better if they didnt depend on her to handle the ball so much. She could be deadly from the wing.

Here is my question? Was there any energy in gym last night? When I came in I heard the band and fans screaming (great atmosphere). Unfortunatley for Gallatin all the energy was coming from WV. However I was very disappointed to see Walton's band and not Gallatin's band. What is up with this? Not trying to knock WV, only wondering why Gallatin's band failed to show up. I think when the band is playing and you are winning, that gets the fans all fired up and creates the best atmosphere for all involved. I was extremely disappointed in how Gallatin's fans did not cheer did not stand up at all, not even when the took the early lead. And the band not showing up for the championship game in your own house, they missed the opportunity to cash in on a little home court advantage.

Well if we are going to discuss the MVP, I feel that the award should go to the entire 8 or 9 girls that see all the action. This team plays good together and each girl feeds of the others. Very well rounded team. Hope they continue team cohesion in Richmond. Wish them good luck and hope they represent the 8th with class.

I understand, last year was a bad year for the cats in comparision to the previous 4 or 5 seasons. It that regards we wont count last year.:sssh:

I wasn't there, but heard it was over from the opening tip. Henry hit a 3/4 court shot at the end of the 1st quarter to go up 9 or 10. Dont think Gallatin ever got any closer.

The 05-06 season was the last time Coach Jones lost to the same team twice. I dont see that happening here. I'll Take a Travis Davis game winner at the end of Reg.

Not true, last year they lost twice to Owen and twice to Carroll. I think this year it will be Owen coming out on top. I will pick them to win it all. They have been the best team before and not won, wont be the case this year.

Coach May is a great additon to the program at W-town. If you watch him he is all class, may be due to his other job.

Well she plays hard, and is very emotional about the game. I think that says alot about a player. Now if she comes off as though she is complaining I think you have to look at what kind of player she is.

Sounds like they got it right in the first situation. It should be a violation in the second scenerio. But I agree with everyone else. You should just let them shoot again, that is what most refs would do. But the rule reads as this: If a shooter has the ball and then loses control it is a violation, unless they can get control again without leaving the semi-circle, and within the 10 second time frame.

You probably did the right thing.
