  1. SO didn't overlook anyone. GC just outplayed them early. Let's give some credit to GC's coaches for getting them prepared to play. No one overlooks their opponent at this level. If they do they won't be around very long.

Dude, were you at the same game? SO didnt not expect Gallatin to come out and run over them like they did. It took a whole quarter before they woke up! I would say that is over looking! Coach Simpson didn't that is why he benched his starters after about 3 or 4 minutes. At this level? We are talking about 15 to 18 year olds, that hardly ever stay focused. If you read my post you will see that I gave credit to GC. Read next time before you post! Thank you.

  2. Congrats to SO and GC on the best game this year in the 8th. I thought SO players were looking past GC. However if I know Coach Simpson like I think I do, he was not. He is a class act and I think he was concerned about his players looking to tonights game.

Gallatin did what they had to do, they came out and punched SO in the nose and played great ball. SO reacted and started playing ball late in the first half. Great game to both schools.

I look for South to get the win tonight against Shelby.

  3. Barb (that some of the pictures are in reference to), is the Bus Driver and Lady Demon Book Keeper. On 12/28, she had surgery for breast cancer. This was the first game that she had been to since her surgery. It was a very emotional and special night night for her as well as all others that were there. Like paNDA stated, sometimes the score don't matter.

Well I agree. Sure you like to win as everyone does, but with a cause like this and the response from the public by attending the game and commenting on BGP the score doesn't really matter. Sometimes you have to settle down and realize that there are more important things going on than basketball. Great effort by W-town, a class act school. I wish Barb the best of luck and hope she wins the bigger battle.... The game of life!!!!! Good job Coach Wilhoit.. And what about that student section and the BAND. awesome.:dancingpa

  4. I'm sorry if that came across that I was upset about your post. That wasn't the case at all. Actually I meant that in a funny way. You are one of the people on here that never bashes the kids and tries to see the good in every team. Saying Trimble Co. has struggled is an understatement. Trent was a very good player and the team misses his contribution greatly. It's been an adjustment for the entire team without him. Trimble should not have lost either the Carroll or Eminence games. The bright side of that coin is that the sophomore class in those 2 games started to show what the team can be next year. With a lot of patience everyone will survive this year in Raider country!

What happened to the Green kid? Why did he have to make changes? I liked that kid, thought he played hard. As do all the Raiders. I would love to coach these kids as they are role models to youngsters.
