CJ Lynn will be named next Coach at Garrard if they are smart. He was hired earlier this Summer to teach there. He played at Danville and Alice Loyd College, and was an assistant at Danville this past season.

Franklin also beat Tates Creeks the other day.

In 1 game, Woodford can beat anyone in the state with Hollon on the mound. But when he is not pitching I'm not sure they can even beat Frankfort, not much chance against the other 8 top 25 teams, in the 11 region.

I bet they win plenty of games without Hollon on the mound. I just hope none of them are against us.

Yep, you get two. Its crazy this year with some teams already playing games and some still doing their scrimmages.

Somerset beat Harrison County 6-4 yesterday at Harrison County and plays Clay County on Thursday.

I think Woodford Co. is ranked a little low. I believe that team will not be an easy out for anyone in the 11th Region this year.

I think Boyle scrimmages today but there were rumors that it maybe cancelled because they basketball team plays in the region finals tonight.

 

I think Mercer will get better as the season goes on but I don't expect them to win the 12th.

 

The three mentioned earlier....Danville, Somerset and West Jessamine all return strong lineups don't they?

Danville returns 6 starters and all their pitching from last years team. Somerset returns alot offensively but I believe lost some pitching. West Jess. lost #1 pitcher and their catcher, but have the rest back including the Ward kid on the mound who is very good.

Anyone in the 12th scrimmaged yet?

Sounds like East really found another gear in the 2nd half. They were my pick to win the region after seeing them earlier and I still feel that way.

I also believe East will win the 12th. They are a fun team to watch play.

I've talked to several college coaches at all levels this winter and they said high school teams better learn how to bunt and defend the bunt if they want to have a chance to win many games with these BBCOR bats.

Thanks. So if Lincoln win against Danville, Danville and Boyle will have to go to common opponents for 3 and 4 place. If Danville wins it will come down to common opponents for 2 and 3 places.

What are the tie breakers? Which ever Danville or Lincoln wins next Friday isn't there going to be at least two teams tied. I think Lincoln is 4-1, Danville is 2-3, Boyle 2-4, Garrard 3-3.

Does anyone know what the district seeding is 1-4?, and were the district tournament is?
