Next week.... Can't wait.
I'm definitely NOT logging on if Leslie wins.
-
neither team is invincible to leslie's defense they have been without 2-3 starters for the last three weeks.
Do you know when they play each other?
-
No offense taken. I hope both have great seasons. I don't know Lee's record but know they have lost at least 3.
-
I thought Lee was invincible?
I thought Leslie and Lee were. Wrong on both counts.
-
Samardzija the first WR taken.. I don't know about that. I think he is a solid college guy but I don't know pro's.
I got your back SA; when the BIG 50 come calling. You know they are everywhere.

Way to go, Tyler!!!!!!!!!!!:dancingpa

What is Leslie County's record now?

Someone finally agrees with me. Good win Leslie. They were suposed to travel to Buckhorn this evening but it has been cancelled due to rain.
Pure pride makes me think Lee County is the best but I have to admit; Leslie sounds tough. I'm starting to get nervous and you obviously have a great team. (I also thought Ky would beat Conn in basketball so I stay prejudiced for my team if it's any consolation)

Sincw you don't have a post in this thread, I'm not sure where you are exactly?
I had a quick unrelated question but I can tell you are too busy. I'll ask later or PM somebody.

Scribe; I have a question. Are you with me?
-
HaHa. You guys are hilarious     . 6 year old play little league?
I stand corrected. My son, who had an ant farm in center field, retired from the game soon after the home run and I forgot the actual name of the league. But he did hit the ball over the fence.

How could it be much different from last year? Lee has everyone back. So does Leslie. Lee played Leslie twice last year. They beat them in the regular season, and they beat them in the regional tournament. What makes you think things have changed that much since last year?
The answer is in the name and in human nature; Hope springs eternal. I'm sure he is as terrified of playing Lee as Ky is Florida next year with all their players back but I hope we beat them too. What other choice does he have but to be defiant in the face of such adversity. I admire him for his courage. And I mean that. I saw the coach's 6 year old son hit one over the fence in little league last year.If he has his young son doing that can you imagine what the big boys are doing?

First baseman is Matt Eversole, missed all of last year with a knee injury, and you are right, he can play. Look at him next time and imagine what kind of football player this kid would have been if he had been someplace where e could have played.
Badcat, you and Sixtyfeetsix should play full court basketball with Matt at age 44. I know being slightly over the hill prevents that but let me tell you, he is a hoss. He is intense in all phases of the game. A natural athlete.

Owsley has not been famous for its baseball program over the years, but the Owls have won 5 district championships that I know of-----1975, 1976, 1994, 1995, and 1997.
Can we help BADCAT with his logo professor?
-
Hey man, grab a spritzer and chill. BTW, Lee County best in 56th, all players back, plus Matt Eversole, who was out with injury last year. Gene Combs top coach.
For a spritzer or maybe even an RC I will help you get a picture instead of the dull BADCAT.

You are right! I never had a "prime"
I didn't know that you could play baseball? I guess you live and you learn! :thumb:
My dad pitched for UK. My uncle played for the Yankees farm system but hurt his leg. My grandpa played for the st louis browns (cardinals) and I...I was one of the best waterboys in the mountains!!!!! So there. You did not know... but now you do!!!!. Let all tremble before the awesome power of the gnat.

Give me more updates on your team Tuesday if you are able to be in Lee.
-
It was a intersquad scrimmage game, and I would only allow them to throw fastballs. ANyone can hit an 80 plus fastball out of the park, all you have to do is make contact with it!
I bet you could not hit my knuckleball thrown in my prime. Or my curve. Even if you were in your prime. Did you have a prime? How are you doing pal? Let's have some batting practice soon.

That is unfortunate. On May 16, I will have my own battle raging. Right, Professor?
