Phillip Wood from Pendleton Co. would be one I would put on that list for sure.

Pendleton Co. going from 0-11 to 7-3 and winning two games in district for first time is a good story.

What a great,great season for Pendleton County. What is there secret on such a turnaround with only dressing 27 players? Are there players multi sport athletes(baseball,basketball), is it just the coaching and style? Do the parents stay out of things? Just trying to get a handle on this, because you have schools like Bracken County,similar in size, that haven't won a game in 4 years. Could all PC fans please chime in as to what PC's secret is, thank you.

Pendleton County is twice the size of Bracken County. Pendleton has had a change in attitude. They have some nice athletes. The QB has came into his own.

I am very proud of this Pendleton Co. team. Hats off to them.

Let me start this off by saying I think Cal is going to be a great coach. At this point he has brought more excitment to the UK program in the last 2 months than I have saw in the last 10 years. He is everything that a UK coach needs to be, should be, and the fans want him to be. There is more UK talk around than I have heard for years.

So, a rumor.

His dad said somethings about him a couple of places. I don't have the links anymore. I am sure you can google it and find it.

I think most were happy with his recruiting efforts, but I don't think many were happy with the job he was doing throughout the season.

I never seen where his recruiting efforts were anything to write home about.

I cannot believe that WHAS is showing this but none of the Lexington stations

Barnhart made an incredibly terrible hire with Gillispie. Unbelievably bad.

 

Look at how we're treating Calipari and you have to ask yourself "how did Billy Gillispie ever land this job?"

I was not on here when he go hired. He did not get all of this. He was a great recruiter is all I ever heard.

This backing is why I think Memphis is a more attractive job than Ark. We were comparing the 2 in another thread. I could be wrong but I don't think Ark can pull this off.

Doesn't Arkansas have a bigger cash cow in another company that is based in the state? :confused:
