I was looking through this thread and noticed that no one has said anything about University Heights.....My guess would be that Scotty Hopson is probably their best dunker. Anyone think anything different?
UHA came to Hazard during the 93-94 season and they had are fans going crazy with all the dunks!! During the game, Greg Buckner had a real nice dunk!! So I would say Greg Buckner, Lamont Barnes, Isiah Victor would all have to be considered as the best dunkers from UHA, could be others I have forgot. :thumb:

I am pulling for Pineville, but I think Bardstown's quickness is something that will surprise the Mountain Lions.

The Sanford kid from Cawood during the Mid 80' was a great dunker.
Nick Sanford!! Haven't heard that name in a while, he was a dandy!! :thumb:

Six of the first-round games have the potential to be very competitive ... Rose Hill and Hazard shouldn't be threatened seriously in the opening game. From that point, this could be a fun tournament.

Chad Spencer was a really good dunker from there as well.
Chad Spencer could get up! I played on an summer team that had Chad Spencer, Damien Fishback from Greenwood, Kenyatta Davis of Henry Clay, and Brian Douglas of Owensboro, I think. They could all throw down easily, very fun to throw it up and they just go get it!!

Hazard Bulldogs will represent the 14th, good luck Dawgs!

That was what I was afraid of, that everyone would say Hazard only won because Tate Cox was hurt. That may be true, but I wanted Tate Cox to play so bad so this wouldn't be a discussion. All I hope is that he is healthy the next time they play, if that happens! Good luck Hazard!!

Any updates on Hazard vs Leslie Co. in the finals??

I may be wrong, but I think the schedule for most of the teams was pushed back a day because of the snow-slick roads this week. Some games were postponed.

Sorry, I didn't realize that the game hasn't been played!
Playing on a Sunday in the Bible Belt area of the Commonwealth! I was always under the impression that the Eastern Kentucky Regions were the ones that were so dead set against playing the Sweet Sixteen Championship game on Sunday. I guess I was wrong!
Church and sports on the same day!! A-men to that! Go Hazard.

I am trying to think of the kids name that played for Clay with Farmer in the late 80's. He was one the best dunkers in Kentucky High School History at 6'0.
Russ Chadwell??

Anybody from Franklin-Simpson would say DeMarcus Doss. I think that was his name? Anyone remember this name?

Hazard- Todd Blanton, Anthony Sharpey, David Alexander, John olinger

Potential for some really good matchups, both in the 1st and 2nd rounds!

I just saw somethiing that said boys final was at 4 o'clock. Does anyone know for sure? Will start time be determined on when the girls final ends?
-
I believe the game is at Perry Central, does anyone know what time the game will be played?
Hazard girls and Leslie Co's girls play in the finals Sunday afternoon at 2.
Hazard's boys and JBS's boys play around 5 pm. on Sunday. Both games at PCC's gym.

Hazard 79

Sorry, no stats.

On Hazard radio tonight, they said Tate Cox wasn't playing tonight or tomorrow. I wonder who they get their information from? If it is accurate info?
