I have watched Boyle quite a bit this season and I think it's pretty clear where their weakest area is. They still have enough weapons to overcome that weakness but here's where I think they better be ready to bring it in the playoffs:
Round 1: running clock
Round 2: vs. Western Hills (dangerous game)
Round 3: Belfry or Lexington Catholic (I like how Boyle matches up with both, although Belfry in the playoffs is always scary)
Round 4: Corbin (I like how Boyle matches up here, too; but, this would be a game to attend)
Round 5: Central is a bad matchup for Boyle if this ends up being the final; I like the matchup vs. anyone else
That's my unbiased opinion just based on watching them a lot this season.
On a personal level, go Rebels!
By the way, where would a hypothetical round 3 game vs. Belfry be played at?

This guy would have been a short timer in the 90s.

This will be another classic SEC slobber knocker. It doesn’t get any better than high level SEC games.
-
I didn't think Woodford was terrible when I watched them. I had a feeling they would get a win or two this season.
-
Samford? They really struggled with Samford? FSU has problems.
-
Do you think they have a shot vs DeSales, CAL or Mayfield?
They played with Corbin and Boyle County so they can play with anyone in 2A. If the playoffs were next weekend, probably not. When the playoffs actually get here, Danville will be ready

Southwestern running clock.
-
I don't think there should ever be a scenario where a football game ends in a tie.
-
Yes, Danville will be fine.
-
No, you can't write off Danville in 2A.
-
I still can't believe it happened. Not only did Kentucky win, they were the better team and had more talent than Florida.
-
Heard from a friend who agreed that Danville looked drained very early in the game. No emotion. I also saw a comment in the update thread about the number of plays Pulaski ran compared to Danville. I really wouldn't look too far into that. That's what Pulaski's offense creates. Last year in their game against Southwestern, Pulaski actually ran 89 plays to SW's 29 and Southwestern won 54-20.
From start to finish...2-yard run, 2-yard run, 8-yard pass, first down. Repeat.
About once every 8 plays, throw deeper. All night long. Slowly and methodically moving downfield with giant running back, then eventually throwing to giant receiver.

Male is no. 1 right now. Trinity gets revenge when it matters.

One thing I'll say...it's tough to come back against a good team after emotional games at Corbin and Boyle County. They Admirals really look like a tired team (mentally and physically). They played with little to no emotion tonight.
But, take nothing at all away from Pulaski County. They were passionate and had a great game plan. Nice win for them.
-
Pulaski County dominated this one from start to finish. I feel like Danville was mentally drained from the last two weeks. They were never in the game.

A well-conceived and well-timed trick play is a thing of beauty. If everyone in the stadium is expecting it or it's at a really bad time in the game, then not so much. I personally love a good trick play.

Someone hit me up in email and told me the Officiating Crew for the Beechwood/Corbin game is the same Crew that did the Corbin/Alcoa (TN) game last year.
Oh. Well they will absolutely get a shake then.

King Buffet would be off of Exit 29 instead of Exit 25. Smokey Bears BBQ is also a good place to eat off of Exit 29.
Yes that's correct. I got it backwards.
-
The King Buffet off of exit 25 is the best Chinese buffet in the area (IMO)

Anything with food sounds makes me want to break my tv.
-
Yes, you best not write off Danville in 2A.
-
Is this game at Corbin?
