By the way, it is my opinion that the majority of teachers (just as our police officers, firefighters and military) are underpaid and under appreciated for their efforts. Public, private or otherwise...
You got that right!

It is really nice to hear about some of the players from Western Kentucky.

You may establish BGP as a “Principality” along the lines of Monaco. The fact that this tiny domain of just over one square mile has been ruled as an absolute monarchy for 700 years has not prevented it from gaining notoriety as the “playground for the rich.”
In 1962, His Serene Highness, Prince Ranier III softened the Constitution of 1911. Government is now exercised under the supreme authority of the Prince, and a council personally nominated by the Prince. They answer for their actions directly to the Prince. (Sounds like moderators to me…)
One of the more appealing aspects of this constitution is the succession to the Throne via the principle of “primogeniture,” whereby only the direct and legitimate descendants of the reigning Prince may succeed to the Throne. (This reduces any concerns you may have in regard to a possible coup by Birdsfan, Nets, newarkcatholicfan, nWo, Oldbird, password, Philip Hay, swamprat, and the boys.)
Precedence is also granted to male descendants over female descendants of the same degree of kin. (An outstanding strategy for keeping the Chick Nation in check…) In the absence of legitimate descendants, an adopted child may succeed to the Throne.
Hey, I’m just spit-balling here, but I think this system has its merits…
“The Principality of Bluegrass Preps governed by HSH (His Serene Highness) Guru I.”
Although well on its way, BGP will soon become known as the “Playground for the erudite sports fan.”
(Man, I can’t wait until we have some genuine “Basketball” topics to bat around in our neck of the woods…)
 I love it. I don't understand a word of it but I love it!

Is there anyway to hook up a spell check on BGP?
What I do is copy and paste the word or sometimes the whole post to Microsoft Word and let the spellchecker on it check it out.

Good point powerfootball.

I'm not worried about that at all. We also went through something similar to this when we went to the paid format.

Like password and Guru have said, apparently some people are not understanding the spirit of this rule.
I think the rule is not to shut down a thread if someone types "their" or "thier" "theyre" or instead of "they're", or has a few common typo's or spelling mistakes.
It's to avoid the 500 word posts that don't have a single period, comma or colan in them -- no punctuation marks whatsoever. Those same posts are usually the posts without a single capital letter in them, and a ton of spelling errors. These posts appear quite a bit, and are often times borderline incoherent.
At least that's how I interpret this new rule.
You are exactly right! :thumb:

And I wonder how many times the posts in this thread we re-read for mistakes before the "Submit" button whas clicked?
What kind of reaction are you speaking of?

You total took me wrong on this. Some people have a very hard time with spelling and the other areas mentioned! I think that the staff needs to rethink this!
If that is the case then if you have Microsoft Word then you could copy and paste your post on it and it will check your spelling for you. I know it works because if there is a word that I think I'm spelling wrong then that is what I do.
As for rethinking it, I support it 100%.

Try to read the many of posts that some of us moderators have to read on an almost daily basis and you'll know one of the reason why Guru went to this.
Also it shows pride in something that we work hard on everyday.
