How could it be much different from last year? Lee has everyone back. So does Leslie. Lee played Leslie twice last year. They beat them in the regular season, and they beat them in the regional tournament. What makes you think things have changed that much since last year?

Is that all you have to go on is things that happened last year?

Maybe after you see them thump Leslie you'll think different! Mark That DOWN!

Not this season. They haven't played any teams worth coming to watch

I do feel that any team after Leslie Co. could move around in the rest of the positions. To be honest I have not seen Leslie play but I have Lee Co. and thats my feeling until I see Leslie play.

Your list wouldn't be the same if you had seen them play.

Who are Leslie's starters this year and their grades?

Some people like to knock them for a past time. What is Lee's record?

Im not knocking them for that I said in a recent post that maybe later on in the season when they play some tougher competition then they may be ranked as high. They are a good team, beat us last year but you can't go by that.

Its not been too demanding so far, but they do have a 9-5 win over Estill County....the same Estill that defeated Clark County 5-3 recently....the same Clark County you guys just beat. And they have a bunch of top-notch quality opponents, including Clark County, remaining on their schedule. And by the way, you're making fun of Owsley County but they are presently 5-1 with wins over Hazard, Breathitt, Jenkins, Buckhorn and Menifee, with their only loss to Lee County.

 

If you think for one minute that Lee County isn't for real, you might find out for yourself how wrong you are in May.

Im not saying they are not for real but if you look at who they have played and who Leslie has played who has faced tougher teams? You can complain and argue all you want to but as of Right Now you can't put Lee with Leslie. I don't care what you say.

I don't think you can rank them with Leslie at this point in the season. Maybe later on when they face some tough teams.

It's only supposed to be a high of 51 tomorrow with AM showers. If it were to rain the games out I would think that is what they will do.

Your description of Leslie County is pretty much a description of Lee County too. Strong pitching, solid hitting from top to bottom, etc..

I don't think there's much difference in these two teams. It will probably come down to who is "on" the day that they play one another. They don't play until mid-May, and then play twice in one week.

Who are some of the teams Lee has played this year?

Is he interested in Georgetown? What other positions does he play? Georgetown is loaded with 29 Freshman! Only lose 4 Seniors and have a 20-19 record this year. Who else is looking at him?

He also plays outfield (mostly left). Morehead has also came to watch him this year.

Good win by the eagles. They crushed the ball this game, I would like to congradulate Timmy Baker on the homer he hit to center it cleared the fence at 370 ft.

Good win for the Eagles tonight this was the second game of the night for them. They didn't show any fatigue in this game they crushed the ball and played solid defense. Look out 14th region if they swing the bats like they did in this game.

I agree. i think Lee is ahead of Sheldon Clark and Allen Central in the Mountain Poll. Corbin is not even close to the best in the mountains with all they lost last year. IMO.

Lee should be right there with Leslie.

I was at the game & I talked to Morgan afterwards & he told me that the same guy your talking about from Morehead told him he was throwing 86consistently.

Yea 86 was straight out of the coach's mouth who talked to the scout. Morgan had a decent game not near his best though. Congrats to Roberts on the homer.
