They were a pretty solid team.

Game turn out to be a good one. Great pitching by both teams and impressive hitting. One more thing Welcome back Mr. Wells of Leslie.

The Eagles looked good today the Morgan brothers pitched well.

I'm definitely NOT logging on if Leslie wins.

This was a very exciting game to watch. Perry Central went up 4-1 in the fifth inning, but Powell came back in the sixth to make it 4-3. In the seventh Powell's runner was cut down at the plate to end the game. Crouch pitched for PCC and Benningfield for Powell. Two very good teams hope to see them both in the regional tournament.

The Eagles record is 21-2.

The Eagles brought the bats with them today. Riley Hendrix and Timmy Baker both had homers in this game.

Final, game played at Leslie. Leslie got rolling again tonight they hit the ball well.

Good game by the Eagles even with starters out. Jimmy joe Morgan pitched well. Tough loss for the eagles.

Great game to watch alot of action happening. Riley Hendrix pitched for Leslie(also hit a 3 run shot to tie the game at 6) im not sure who pitched for cumberland but he pitched well until he was relieved. Good to see the Eagles come back after their first loss.

Hats off to AC. Everyone has to get beat sometime(not making any excuses). Leslie had 6 errors AC had 1 story of the game.

Another victory for the Eagles which makes them 18-0. Jimmy Joe Morgan (the younger brother of Quentin) pitched 5 solid innings for the Eagles to get his first victory at the varsity level.

Who pitched for Hazard and how did they get 4 runs off Morgan?

I believe Taylon Goodson started and Colby Hoskins finished.

I believe Jeremy Shepard will be signing with Alice Lloyd in a few days..I'm not positive on that though. Jeremy is left handed & plays outfield for Leslie & has good batting skills also. (excellant bunter)

No I didnt think it was between just Cumberland and Leslie. I actually think it was between Leslie, South Laurel, and North Laurel. But I know that Cumberland has a good club this year and this was a very convincing win. IMO Leslie is definitely #1 in the mountains with South and North Laurel close behind.
