I'm trying to rate where X falls in line as far as the toughest opponent T has had.... maybe second to last???

Where does T fall on the Tiger scale??? Maybe first or second best? Third best? I do put them ahead of Fairdale (bazinga).

T has seen running games as good/better than X. X has not seen a passing game like T (even though it is down this year).

The X qb hub-bub is a distraction too. Those kids will be watching how the dad of the benched qb is acting on the sideline. The biggest factor though is mistakes. The most turnovers = loss.

All that put into the computer says T wins 23-13, with 5,000+ teenagers under the stands not knowing the final score.

Trinity had Tim Philips and other grads playing for the freshman team.

I also recall the game where God spared a major beat down when he opened the flood gates.

Just wanted to check and see if Vic had that first down yardage yet..... NOPE.

Trinity plays kids that graduated 2 years ago on their jv team.....

X has never lost to Central and that won't change tonight. Just wondering how the benching of Nagle will effect father and son?

KCD owning this one... up like 27-0 at half.

Rock defense playing well. Kept IC out of the end zone late in half as they went for it on 4th down (several plays inside the 10). Reggie putting up some nice passing and rushing numbers and has 2 of the TDs.

A QB controversy a week before the big game? Oh my...

Rocks take opening kick and drive for a TD. Up 7-0 1st Q.

Walker having a great game... so far, 21 carries 206 yards. But he needs some help!

So many silly mistakes still being made. They are magnified when you are playing tough teams. Why did Reggie not start? Illness?

"Putting it on Fairdale" is not a confidence builder... maybe a false confidence builder.

Why was this game scheduled?

I believe I saw that X had 20 offensive plays in the 1st half. This is one of those games where you have to "put it on them" for confidence purposes.

 

Running clock to start the second half...an opportunity to get game reps for the 2nd and 3rd teamers.

A game against Fairdale does nothiing to help the cause.

Over 400 yards of offense, Brooks over 100 yards and Ott over 100 rec yards. All good. Agree that special teams have not been so special. Defense front 4 did well but DBS need more work. Still a win over a good team is always a good feeling. Good job Rocks!

Travis signed with FIU. I have not seen his grandfather in a while, not sure how that is working out.

That win puts Coach W ahead of Mike Glaser's pace. Glaser lost his first game as Tiger head coach to Southern way back when.

A 6-2 lead over Ballard at halftime made me think it was a soccer game... but the final spread was more like we all thought. Still a lot of yards racked up by Ballard. This week again the team will not be challenged much. It's just hard to tell how good the Tigers are until they play somebody. I'm hoping for at least 10 passes this week. Is that too much to ask?

Love the Colts but John Hardin is a tough cookie and will win this 28-9.

I appreciate the love for the Rocks from the pollsters, but at this point those numbers are not warranted.

When X blasts BG in a few weeks that ranking will fade away for them.

St. X will prove their worth down the road when they play tougher teams.

Well fans of green, I was hit with the mother of all rumors today from the lips of Poplar Level faithful.... "Did you know Trinity has 2 convicted felons who are members of the crips playing on the team and that a coach is assigned to them daily to escort them around the school?" I found that to be beyond humorous (they were not kidding).... into the category of offensive. Have the seeds of jealousy grown so large that ignorant comments such as that have to be made? and people wonder why I cheer for the Rocks.... I would ask the many good folks at St. X to please stomp out the trash fires on campus that breed this type of garbage.

I assume Mr. Bonnafon is OK. Any injury updates would be appreciated. Possibly some shuffles in the defensive backfield???

I can't imagine they'd have another Ferby in the backfield... hope not anyway! I say the ROCKS bounce back and win 20-14.
