Everyone is going with such high scoring games and saying Boone will pull away with it. Has anyone seen the Run Defense for Dixie? The linebackers fill holes and they stop pretty much everything. Shelby County played a run offense like dixie has never seen before. Dixie knows Boones run game like the back of their hands. Sorrell will prepare them for it and they will perform. Boone will have to rely on their pass game and thats not good for them. I will go with Dixie to win this one due to the fact that their run D is great and Bricking has been flawless lately.

If you are right about the run, then Boone will lose. But Boone knows Dixie just as well as Dixie knows Boone. IMO Thompson and Co. will have a good game plan and they'll execute it. Boone WILL move the ball on Dixie.

Go Boone County....Boone County has hosted the Rocks in some nasty muddy games and it hadn't even rained in the days before the game. I would like to see the Rocks host Boone County and show them the right way to host a game. Go Boone County..........

I'm definitely making the drive up from Lexington for this one. Should be another classic, same schools, same hype, same importance, different players, won't be the first time these guys meet in the playoffs I guarantee that. If Boone can control the clock and sustain a few long drives, I really like our chances. I have a feeling a lesser known guy is going to make a huge play to decide this one, which team will he come from though??

Do you honestly not see the improvment NKY 4A has made. 5 years ago it was inevitable we would get swept in first round. Now they have a legit shot to get 2 or 3 wins every year in first round. Even a year like this when its a rebuilding year.

I remember at the beginning of the year when everyone wrote off NKY 4A... Being 2-2 and disappointed that we should have won another, I think it turned out pretty good thus far.

They may have. Which would be the point in how could you even think about looking ahead when your playing the team who: A) already beat you this year and B) ended your season AFTER you beat Trinity last year. As for the game, I'm going to stay away from the trash talking, this game is going to be a classic, good luck to both squads! Go Rebels!!!

This is the biggest game of the year boys. Really. I know the coaches say it all the time Dixie, but it is. BC is very good, don't underestimate them. They will beat you if you are not mentally prepared for the war your about to get in. Do your job and trust your teammates to do theres, and most of all don't leave any gas in the tank because there is no tommorrow. Make sure you can look people in the eye knowing you gave it all you had when the horn sounds. One and done, or go have more fun, the choice is yours.

How could Dixie POSSIBLY underestimate Boone?

And Boone better bring their A+ game or it might be another Conner game! :sssh: It will be a different gameplan this time by both teams. Shouldn't be a mudbowl, either. As gametime put it, this should be another CPC classic! Dixie will be ready!

Should be a CPC classic for sure. Boone has their number as of now and I'm sticking with that. Some people on here said A LOT of stuff that didn't come true last playoffs, I'll look for the same to happen!!!

Wow. Can't believe this match-up is happening again! The Rebels are tough as nails in the playoffs. Dixie better have their A+ game or they could be in for a very long night!
