I think Ballbrain is right, they have pretty good size.
-
I don't think they're small. Actually they have good size and the way I've heard it the team overall is one of the strongest in the weight room in recent years.
Good! I haven’t seen them yet, ballbrain – just repeating what I heard. A strong line will make everything else better!
-
I’ve heard through the grapevine that the Tomcat coaches are happy with the play of their linemen. They’re small, but effective. It all starts at the LOS.

^^^ It's football season ...
-
These two teams have not played in a few years.

I was there. Great game, drama down the last kick! Won't have to worry about that now, huh?
It was a great game, but it was JC kicking to tie - not Ashland.
The close game that I remember Ashland loosing due to a kick was the Ironton game in 2005. We were behind by 1-point with time expiring. We attempted a FG, but shanked it.
-
Lawrence Co lost most of their coaching staff - that will change things there, IMO.
-
Ashland's best wrestler this year was Senior, Trent Hardy. He got 2nd place in 215. His most exciting match was in the semi-finals, coming from behind to beat Trinity's 215 in the final seconds. Congratulations Trent!
-
Very impressive. Congratulations to JJ Jude!
-
Congratulations to Russell! Not many were expecting you to advance this far. This is a great time to peak - when it really matters.
-
Congratulations to Johnson Central! Good luck next week in what should be a great game.
-
Congratulations to Belfry, good luck next week.
I hope Pawsat makes a full and speedy recovery.
-
Congratulations to LCA - good luck next week!
Congratulations to the Rams on another good year.
-
... Please say a prayer forCovCath, Senior Dan Gregory who sustained a very nasty and I do honestly mean a very nasty looking broken arm while making a tackle.
Congratulations to CovCath, the best team won - fair and square. I am very sorry to hear about this injury. I hope this young man heals soon and completely.
Good luck at JC - it should be a good game.
-
Congratulations to the Bulldogs!
-
Congratulations to the Rams and their fans!
-
Congratulations to Knox Central!
-
Congratulations to the Red Devils and their fans! Good luck next week.

What does Boyd Co look like we play them this week in the 1st round?
Boyd's only win was a 3-0 victory over East Carter. One of Boyd's tackles (# 58) was ejected from the game and I believe he will have to miss the next game too. You should win by a large margin.
-
Ashland fumbled the ball away 3-times early in the game allowing Boyd to score first. After the 1st quarter Ashland got on track.
Cody Withrow caught 6 passes for 115 yards and broke Drew McDavid's singel-season school record for receptions.
Hunter went 18-22-0 for 210 yards
Evans was 15-26-2 for 166 yards for Boyd Co.
-
Congratulations to Johnson Central. Good luck to both teams in the play-offs.
-
Congratulations to Rowan Co.
-
Congratulations to Mason Co. Good luck in the play-offs.
-
Congratulations to the Rams for the sweet 3-peat victory!
