  1. This post was actually about Paintsville and Landon Slone, and not you, but okay... I never said Landon wasn't "a good basketball player"
  2. If you get the attention that comes along with being "hyped" then you might as well accept that some of the attention is going to be negative. Landon is definitely overrated and his premature crowning as "king" by many Tiger faithful on this site have made the majority of other posters more critical of his game. Sometimes its better to keep quieet and let others tell you how good your team is than to say it yourself and then be proved wrong... There's no way the Tigers can live up to the expectation of many Paintsville posters, so when the criticism rolls in just sit back and know that you asked for it. :thumb:
  3. It's good to see that one team represented the 15th well...
  4. Nice win for JBS, but don't get too excited. This is the worst team that Perry Co. has had in years and the best team that JBS has had in years, and JBS wins by four... Just a little perspective.
  5. This score was not really that much of a surprise. Paintsville just isn't that good of a team. They are definitely more hype than substance... especially Landon Slone. This just makes the 15th look bad... but thank goodness for Phelps representing the 15th...
  6. Nowhere did stark ever state the "refs took the game"... He makes some very valid points about the officiating. Maybe someone just has a chip on their shoulder... :sssh:
  7. I think it has more to do with the low level of overall talent in the mountain regions. Good players can "bust out" for big numbers more often because of the small number of talented and athletic players.
  8. They have a really good fan base and a great one two punch. :fight:
