  1. Yep, that sounds about right...seriously I think that's what they do...

I guess its harmless and I know Baoni would never allow anything negative and yes kids will be kids, but for me personally Iam just not a big fan of it at this level and age group.:thumb:

Got to be better than pickin splinters and talking about everything but baseball.

  2. Nice bounce-back win for the Birds. After dropping a close one to Beechwood to start the day, HC got out to an early 4-0 lead with some solid hitting.

A 5 run 3rd inning was capped off by the 2 run, 2 out HR from SO Allen to give the Birds a lead.

HC tied it up in the 4th, but the Birds plated 4 in the bottom of the 5th to push it out to the final margin.

Nice work by SO Jones to go 5 without his best stuff and location. Liggett was a strong change of pace that kept HC off balance over the 2 innings he threw.

Birds are scheduled at Campbell Co. on WED before a FRI night game at Carroll Co. and SAT at Elder. The team heads to Myrtle Beach for 7 games in 5 days after that.

Did he get a medical redshirt?

  3. The Bengals lead the league in salary cap space, but that doesn’t mean they’re going on a spending spree on March 12.

In fact, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis says that the team’s priority is to keep the players it has, not to add a lot of high-priced talent from elsewhere.

“Our cap space needs to be spent on our own players,” Lewis told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

At the very least, Lewis’s comments strongly suggest that the Bengals won’t be out-bid for Smith or Johnson. If either of those two get away, that’s a bad sign for fans in Cincinnati.

Im not gonna be shocked if they leave. Who wouldnt want go somewhere where they can win the "BIG" games....

  4. There are tons of 8th graders trying out this year. It will be interesting to see how many freshman they push up to JV and replace with the 8th graders. They have these kids interested and if some of them can play I'm wondering how many they give a shot to.

With upperclassmen number finally where they should be, I dont think you'll see many 9th graders playing JV.

  5. It bothers me. Iam with others on the argument of the non-seeding and I will be the first to say the team that draws the 36th Dist loser gets a real bunny in the first round,

NewCath's worst game will be better than the others best game ever and they will most likely still get bet by 30...

It's time for the state to step in and require seeding for every district. What is the point of the regular season games if it means nothing towards post season rank? Once again the two best teams arent moving on as a direct result.
