If things would have worked out it could have been Scott County the first game of the year in their bowl game and St. X the 4th game of the year.  Was told that it just couldn't get worked out.

  2. Tonight the Rebels honored one of the 4 old high school that used to be in Boyle, the Forkland Green Waves.  The Rebels came out in the green uniforms that looked like the old uniforms Forkland wore back in the days.  The Rebels were lead in scoring by Myers with 20 and Jakie Tarter who had 11 points and 17 rebounds.  The Rebels are honoring one of the schools each year for the next 4 years counting tonight.   They had member of the Forkland basketball teams and cheerleaders in attendants tonight.

I'm hearing that even though Boyle and Bowling Green are not renewing their home and home contract that Boyle has agreed to play in the Rafferty Bowl at Western Kentucky University.

Hearing the same thing plus also hearing that the Scott Co. game still might be on but just later in the season.

  6. I still think that Boyle will have something to say about it before it is over (call me a homer).  I believe that once they get a starting lineup set that it will start clicking for them.  The thing that is in doubt is the shooting for Boyle.  They did barely beat Garrard last night but the shot 3-18 the 3rd QT while Garrard was 7/11 and FT shooting has hurt Boyle in some games.   Of the teams I have seen in the 12 Region so far, DCA is good, and you have to watch out for Garrard.   Boyle shot poorly from the field and FT line against DCA and that hurt them.  Against Highlands, If Boyle hits FT they win the game and like I said the same for DCA.  But like my Mom always said, "if if's and buts was candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas".   I haven't seen Lincoln or Pulaski play yet, but both seem to be playing pretty well.   I just think that the 12 Regions is probably tougher this year and before and that is from the top down to about #11.
