  1. The thinking behind this rule is dog doodoo. So they have to forfeit the regular season games because an ineligiable player played. Yet even though that ineligiable player played in the state tourney they dont have to forfeit those games. The KHSAA is talking out of both ends of their mouth with that rule.
  2. 72birdman, I said IF ALL ELSE HOLDS TRUE, so I am not wrong, I am not talking about a completely different game, I'm talking about the semi game that was played minus Mitchell. I am right. If we talk the 2 teams play a different game without Mitchell, then I could be right or wrong.
  3. I think, with the coach knowing the situation and the possibilities and the history of this transfer rule of sitting out one year, that COACH MUELLER made the absolute worst decision possible, and he has to receive the majority of the blame.
  4. 72birdman, you cant argue that IF ALL ELSE HOLDS TRUE in the Bell Highlands game minus Mitchell that Bell doesnt win. Thats an inarguable point
  5. WOW, this is a total mess, and not just for Highlands or Boyle or Bell or Cov Cath, but for everyone.
  6. 72birdman, forget Robbins fumble or Bells inablility to move the ball in the 2nd 1/2. If the whole game, including the latter 2 points hold true even still without Mitchell Highlands doesnt score against Bell. Bell wins. Plain and simple.
  7. powerhouse_bell... not sure of his impact in the Cov Cath game, what was it?? I only know for a fact akw4572 that without Mitchell, if all else holds true, Bell wins the game.
  8. 83 Admiral, your exactly right its a bunch of crock. Lets just take a team full of ineligiable players and play with them all the way through the State Tourney till we win the championship and just forfeit the regular season games.
  9. Nothing against the other teams in the tourney, because they would deserve to benefit from this pandora's box effect as we called it if Highlands forfeited all their games. However, the only teams in the tourney or on Highlands schedule with a realistic chance of beating Highlands, even without Mitchell, was Boyle, Cov Cath or Bell, and Mitchell truly had a HUGE impact on the Bell Co. game, just previously mentioned. For Boyle Co. it doesnt really matter as far as the tourney is concerned, just their season record.
  10. WOW, really dont know what to say, but just a view from the other side. We are all saying its for the kids, well what about the 50 something kids at Bell County that suffered a loss at the hands of Highlands because of this ineligiable player. Mitchell no doubt made the biggest impact of his career in the Bell game. He had the fumble recovery for a TD and the TD run to put them on top. Take Mitchell out of that game, its Bell Co. 10 Highlands 0. Once again, just remember how those kids at Bell feel. WOW.
