  1. From NKY I'd say Scotty Gray (Ryle), and Kramer (HHS) will have big seasons up here.

The Best RB in NKY and one of the top in the state is going to be Farris from Boone !:ylsuper: Second would be Molony from Dixie . Third Buckley from CCH . Then Grey and Kramer ! It's going to be avery good year on the ground for NKY !!!:ylsuper:

  2. I think Josh Conner will be the best running back the birds have had since Justin Frisk. If not this coming year than the year after. :thumb:

A Soph RB stepping in to be as good as Frisk was at the Varsity level .You can't be serious ! Conner was good as a fresh , but it's a new game now. Maybe in a year or two . But not now , I'll take Koester or Kramer to be the better backs .

  3. Agreed Scott will have it's best team in years... however the competition is about as deep as I've ever seen in this division. Who are the 'bad' teams?

Anyone playing a 4A team from NKY this year !!!:ylsuper: I think 4A in NKY has gone from very young , to very good !:D Should be avery exciting year in 4A !!!!!

  4. This is about 4a so throw cch and highlands out...dixie might have a big line but it seems that they are more of a finess team and not as physical as holmes or boone...but like dixie, holmes wont have anyone on the line playing both ways either so thats where that advantage come in...but we'll see what happens

Yes Dixie is a passing " O " and run 2nd . But don't be surprised this year that they run power right at ya with that line and big backs that they have ! ( Neugent 6'0 190 sr - Day 6'1 210 jr ) Molony also can take it inside or out with great speed ! Keep thinking that there not a physical team , you'll be surprised !:D Boone is avery physical , running team . But how is Holmes with a scramble 1st QB , a physical power run team ? I would put them in the finesse " O " type team .

  5. Should be interesting, Dixie returns some good talent as well as Ryle and BC. I see those three fighting for the one seed, SK returns most of their skill positions but will have to rebuild on the defensive side. Holmes has serious skills talent, a young line withe experience but who knows if they'll get over that hump.

Speaking of defense this year in 4A , Who should have the Best Squad on " D " ??? Who's gonna be the BIG HITTERS this year ?:fight:

  6. CCH's Brett Sutton has signed to play football at the University of San Diego.

    Top-notch athlete and a top-notch , personable young man.

Talented bunch of boys in the Sutton family. Older bro Jay is golfing at William and Mary. Younger bro Pete will get D1 and 1-AA looks for football. Youngest bro Mickey is also a top-notch golfer.

Must get it from their mom.

    GREAT JOB Brett S. !!!:thumb:

  7. How will the Northern Kentucky squads stack up against X, T, PRP and Male? Is this the year that Northern Kentucky reaches the 4A finals? Year in and year out this area of the state has been somewhat dominant in 3A, 2A and 1A, but 4A dominance has eluded them. I realize that there have been previous posts on this topic, but I am curious as to how knowledgeable prognosticators in the northern area of the state view the competitiveness of this year’s teams. Aside from T, in Louisville, is there any team in the Eastern bracket that has a realistic shot at a 4A state championship this year?

I think Boone , Dixie , and Ryle are closing the gap in 4A . I think 1 if not 2 teams could make a good run this year in the play-offs . NKY is growing so fast in population , that I can see the dominance thing in 4A a thing of the past in years to come.:D

  8. Holmes oline wont be young next year...3 seniors, a junior and a soph but the junior (terrence clark) has played varsity o line since his freshman year and all three seniors will be in their third year of varsity experience. Holmes Oline will be the heart and soul of the team next year and will probably be the best in nky...mark my word. IT will look something like this:

LT- Dustin Wilson- 6'1 200 lbs

    LG- Terrence Clark- 6'4 230

    C- Bobby Godawa- 6'1 235

    RG- Mike Sharp- 6'2 230

    RT- Tommy BRitton- 6'2 235

Skill wise, they will be absolutely loaded..DJ, Austin Hill, Rashad Palmer, and Rodney Covington along with a couple new faces make this team very dangerous...IF THEY CAN USE THEIR TALENT AND WORK AS A TEAM

I can see Holmes having a good line this year , but not the best in NKY . I think I would give the Birds the best, then Boone , Dixie , and CCH . Dixie's line should look something like this :

RT- Freeman 6'4 275 lbs Jr.

RG- Koski 6'2 240 lbs Jr.

    C - Mc Guire 6'3 270 lbs Sr.

LG- Wenning 6'1 210 lbs Sr.

LT- Belbot 6'3 305 lbs Sr.

They also have alot of other Sr's and Jr's that will be challenging for playing time this year !!!:thumb: There very DEEP this year and should'nt have anyone playing both way's !:ylsuper:

  9. My bad. 25 Years. And CCH destroyed Dixie last year. Had Dixie won, or even kept the game close last year, that would give them more of an advantage, but they didn't. I'm not saying that Dixie will not be better than CCH next season, I'm just wondering how winning 3 out of 4, while getting beat by 34 this past season has to do with this next season.

I think CCH had a fast start last year with alot of senior leadership on the field. Boone and Dixie both had very young teams and took alittle while to get going . Both teams finished strong with young teams and developed great depth . CCH lost alot and have some holes to fill on both sides of the ball . I guess will find out early who's better !:p

  10. Are you serious about dixie jv? The only reason they beat both CCH and Highlands is because they played players from the varstiy. Tyler Day played linebacker and their only offense. That would be like CCH playing Pete Sutton acorse you will go undefeated when you play players that played varsity.

I guess you didn't see the games then . But if it makes you feel better about the games , so be it .

  11. O-lineman Zach Spradlin from the Colonels has committed to play at Georgetown College. The Tigersare getting a solid O-lineman and kid in this one...with some nice feet.

CONGRAT'S ZACH !!! You,ve been a great player from the Raiders to CCH ! :ylsuper: Good luck with everything ! And make the "DA RAIDERS" Proud! :thumb:

  12. As a father, I have had the experience of having two sons who have played this great game the last 17 years. I watched them grow from children who’s football pants came down to there ankles, into men who mirrored my image and desire at there age. I have truly been blessed. What has made the experience so much more, is the hard work and dedication to covering these games by guys who love the game as much as I do. I can’t not begin to fathom the number of lives that the guys at CPC have touched, by doing what they do. For all of us in NKY, you are a godsend, and I want to say thank you. My family will forever be grateful for the job that you do, and the memories you have given us.

Thank You Gametime and the rest of the crew!

Great Post !!! :thumb: CPC ,you guy's are great ! What you bring to highschool sports is very special ! Thanks for a job well done ! :thumb:

  13. PCC has found a coach and right in time 2...... It looks to be a good year with 3 state qualifers returning (Tim Jones, Alfred Collins, Charles Turner) and only two other solid wrestler in Ben Napier and Travis Pennington). Im sure no team trophys will be reached but a lot of individual talent in this group. :dancingpa

:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: That's Great !!! Dixie has team openings for there V-Day tournament ! Come on up , we'd love to have ya ! Welcome back !!! :ylsuper:
