Ugh...I cant stand the thought of it. First, BK leaving for ND but then having Austin play there too?! That might be too much to handle....I guess I would actually have to start watching the Golden Domers.

In all seriousness, I just hope Austin follows his heart (and trust that he will). If that means ND, so be it. Now that his run with us is over...I just cant wait to watch him play at the next level wherever it is!

Despite the rep that the FTPD of old had, its not nearly as bad these days!

It's just getting so old. The remaining 15 teams in 5A are fighting like dogs to stay alive just to make it to the finals. The Birds Fans continue to blow their own horn and I imagine it will continue on into December. Hands down, Highlands is the best 5A team in KY and will win the state title. How many ways do you need to hear it? Not to say the Highlands team isn't fighting too, but come on, as everyone has pointed out time and again, there doesn't seem to be anyone in their path to stop them. The rest of us less talented, less fortunate, whatever you want to call it....are just hoping to win another game. You folks have waaaaaay too much time on your hands to continue to start threads such as these.

I know Birdsfan already commented on the blanket statement aspect of this. I assume you did not mean it this way. Every team, well most, have those that will say and post blatantly obvious (sometimes outrageous)things. We seem to have a few more than others. You will just have to trust me when I say that there are more on the flip side of the coin.

But that's what most of your posters said last year and the year before that. (that this was the best Highlands team ever)

Cant blame him there. And as for any coach making these types of statements...lets face it, it happens quite a bit. Unfortunately for him, this tradegy occurred after such a statement was allegedly made. Do I think he said it, probably, but I have no idea.

Gates open at 5:00 PM, so you may have to tailgate for a while. Last time we had a big game like this, people were lined up all the way out to the front of the school, before they opened the gates.

Naah...no tailgating this week. Its only a half hour before the gates open, I am sure we wont be the only ones around.

Yes. He was on Fox News a few minutes ago and said he will be teaching Web Design starting Thursday.

He did state that he does want to get back to coaching, he feels its his life calling to do just that.

Just read on NKY.com that HHS announced the game as a sellout this morning! Looks like we will be getting there at 430 to get a parking spot and a seat!

I am sure someone will smack me, but I am fearful about AC. I have not heard any talk about why he was not dressed this past week, and what the issue might have been. Sorry...even if he was not used during this game, he still would have dressed in my opinion.

This could be a little far fetched as well, however it has happened before. Could this person that 'might have' come in possibly taken something that you didnt notice? Meaning, there are freaks out there that have done nothing but take womens underwear and things of this nature. Stupid little things that are not blatantly evident?!

Hands down the best in the area...however portions have gotten quite small lately. If you are looking for portions at a decent price but just not quite as good as Montoyas....Rio Grande in Newport takes the cake.

Thank you! This is the second pair I have had, had two growing up at mom and dad's that made it to 12 and 11 years old. I am hoping these two make it even further, they could not be better dogs with our little girls!
