Scott Co. got off to a slow start, and spotted Henry Clay 11 points at halftime. Scott Co. fought back and tied the game up with about 4 minutes left and then they couldn't get any closer. Tough week for the Cards, but they will bounce back tomorrow against Sayre. Billy will have them ready for districts.

Who knows, maybe he could end up coming to Kentucky, and turn out to be a Richie Farmer type player. A popular player from Eastern Kentucky that would help re-excite Kentucky fans. Personally I would take him over LeMaster definately.

11th is no doubt the toughest.

Not a bad win for Scott Co. The sky is the limit over the next couple of years for Scott Co. basketball as far as I am concerned.

This should be a real good game. Does anyone have any thoughts? I encourage anyone looking for a good game in CKY to come out tonight at 9 o'clock at Scott Co. :thumb:

This is one of the greatest events in Kentucky every year. There is one change this year, there are no out of state teams in the feild this year. Tonight there should be a pretty good game between Male and Elizabethtown.

It's going to be a lot of fun to see all of the districts pan out going into March!
-
This years tournament is a little different than usual. There are no out of state teams coming this year. Scott Co. has already played 3 of the teams that are in the classic this year. Should still be a lot of fun.

Scott Co. shot 49% from the field, but only 16% from 3 point. 25 turnovers is what helped Dixie Heights. Scott Co. hosts Bryan Station Friday Night.
-
Does anyone have any scoring information?
-
Jordan Lee 6'6"
Rodney Haddix 6'3"
Bud Mackey 6'3"
Jesse Thompson 5'10"
Matt Walls 6'4"

Scott Co. will also have a week to prepare.
-
Scott Co. has some good ones in Rodney Haddix, Bud Mackey, and Jordan Lee.

These two teams play each other again on Feb. 18th in Georgetown. You better beleive that the gym at Scott Co. will be packed and rocking! This was a real good game by both teams. I was dissappointed to see Cameron Hundley lose his cool like that. Coach Hicks will straighten him out. The 11th region will be very tough this year.

Scott Co. won it's first round game in the Red Cross Rotary Roundball Classic in Charleston, SC yesterday. Tommorrow they play North Charleston HS at 7 p.m.
Rodney Haddix 23 points 9 rebounds
Matt Walls 13 points
Bud Mackey 11 points

He was named a first team all-south defensive lineman by Scout.com on Countdown to signing day.

I will be going to Charleston on the 30th, but not in time for the tournament. Scott Co. always attends a holiday tournament, and it has helped them in the past prepare for district and regional play.
-
The Red Cross Rotary Round Ball Classic will be Dec. 27-30 in Charleston. The games will be played at The Citadel. Good luck Scott Co!

Didn't realize Haddix was that good of a football player, probably because I haven't seen him though. Is he looking to play college football over basketball, or wanting to play both?
He will probally want to play basketball more than he would football, but rivals has him on the 2007 list for Kentucky so I put him on here.

Sorry, forgot about Victor Anderson RB St.X

Who will the cats most likely go after or look at next year? A couple I know of.......
Doug Beaumont WR/Athlete Male
Kaelin Ammons QB Franklin Co.
Rodney Haddix WR/Safety/Ath Scott Co.
Others the cats are looking at?

If he can catch the ball, at 6'2" another inch or two won't keep big schools from looking at him. I think now of days people expect you to have size like a super human in order to play the position of TE or lineman in big time college football. He sounds like a great athlete. 6'2" is pretty tall when you think about it. Plus he makes up for it with his 30 some inch vertical that was listed above.
-
I think he would have picked UK if they hadn't of picked up 2 TE commitments early.

Cody Andrews of Scott Co. (sr.). He puts up some pretty good numbers in a run orriented offense with the wing-t formation.
Henry Clay 73 Scott County 65
in KY Boys Basketball (High School)

IMO the 11th region champ will come out of the 42nd.
