Guy Morriss left UK with 7 offensive lineman when he took the money and ran for Baylor. Lets remember Morriss's record at UK was 9-13 or something similar. He did UK no favors.
Exactly people only remember him by the 7-5 season.

Still trying to figure out why Guy was such a hero to some? He's not exactly Mack Brown...
Me too! He was an ok coach, but didn't want to do the dirty work of bringing this program back to lifeduring probation.
-
Morriss didn't want to stick around and do the dirty work that was involved with re-building a team during probation. I think he is a decent coach, but if he stayed here we would either be in the same spot we are now or worse off. He has done an ok job at Baylor so far, but I don't think he could have brought in some of the players that Brooks' staff has. Joker in particular.
-
If Brooks is offered an extension but he is asked to let any of his assistants go, he isn't going to throw them under the bus. But I do agree that Archer better be doing something very soon.

Does anyone know when we are getting rid of Tubby?
This has absolutely nothing to do with the title of the thread so leave that talk out of it.:thumb:

Should be another real good game. Scott Co. will have a hard time trying to match up with Henry Clay's speed. I am looking forward to a big game tomorrow. Should be an exciting enviornment!
-
Big night for Tubby tomorrow when he has an in-home visit with Patrick Patterson. Tough act to follow though as Coach K is at his house tonight.
-
I am really looking forward to seeing how Caldwell will do. I think he will have well over 100 yards receiving or more. This will be another classic Scott Co. vs. Lex. Cath. shootout! Should be some fun!

Farris is only a jr. right? Is he getting any college interest early on?
-
Aren't some of these games going to be on FSN Ohio?
-
Scott Co. has a pretty tough three game stretch with Boone Co., Lexington Catholic, and Henry Clay.
-
Did Boone Co. lose a lot last year?
-
Isn't this game going to be on FSN?
-
Have you all checked out the show "Two-a-days" on MTV? It is pretty neat. The first episode of an eight part series highlighted the week up to the Nease game and the actual game. I know its a bit of a teen drama, but still pretty cool.
-
I think it was a better idea of scheduling Woodward than scheduling Bourbon Co. again for the season opener though.
-
Why haven't the best athletes been coming out at Station the past couple of years?
-
This wasn't much of a game considering that Scott Co.'s JV gave up the 28 points. Yes Rodney Haddix will be missed this year, but I think Coach Mckee has come up with some clever ways to get the ball downfield.
-
I think its cool that this year SI is going to devote about a hundred pages to high school football. I would say that a lot of it has to do with the big recruiting phenomenon that people get into after the season.
-
After watching Franklin Co. last night I would say that Kaelin Ammons is definatly one of the top 3 or 4 players in the state.
-
How did Wes Caldwell look?
-
Both offenses didn't really look that impressive last night. I will give Dunbar credit for playing a close game with a team like MBA though.
-
What are you all expecting as far as the outcome tommorrow?
-
I assume Friday night at 7:30?
-
Is it at Dunbar?

It is SC's senior night. These teams usually show up to play each other no matter what their records are. I'm sad I'll be missing it, but what do you all think?
