Dixie refused to come out of the zone hence why the Juggs held the ball. Can't say I blame Coach Walker. The 3's weren't falling for Walker, Bresser or Collins so it wasn't like they were going to shoot them out of it.
Either way it is a soft move.

Lloyd held the ball for 6 straight minutes in the 4th Quarter and it almost backfired on them from what I heard.

What is Miller's status. CCH isn't going to win 9th if he doesn't play.
Should be back tonight.

CCH has multiple guards that can torch you on any given night. Tonight it was Hussey who was stellar.

Restate, Cooper may not be in 3rd, but they would beat Cov Cath.
Based on what? CCH didn’t give up 58 points to Highlands.

Congrats to both teams!
Cov Cath earned the win by taking advantage of PT mistakes. PT will learn and get better from the experience. For the majority of the game they were probably the better team on both sides of the ball but you simply can't go on the road this late in November and have numerous dropped passes in open field, INTs from those dropped passes, bad snaps on punts, etc etc.
PT was not the better team for most of the game. The story of the 1st Half was CCH NOT capitalizing on turnovers. That kept PT close. After PT took a 7 point lead, CCH absolutely owned both sides of the line of scrimmage and played Championship football.

Well, guess my preseason and early season pick was right about who would make the state championship game. I really thought Highlands would as the season went on. Congratulations to Cooper on a huge win, now win the rest of it!
Mine too. Go Jags.

Paducah Tilghman looking to silence critics in state semifinals
Probably a reference to this article. I think the Blue Tornado is getting plenty of respect in Park Hills.
Without question.

I should remember this, but I don't, and I'm sure I could dig it up, but guessing someone will have a great recall of it: what team beat Boone County with Shaun Alexander in the state finals in 4A (largest class then)? Trinity?
That is correct.

Dead on.

Has he committed to any school for any sport yet? He has to have some good options.

CovCath won the JV game 21-0.

Lloyd running clock.

Ryle #1
CovCath #2
Beechwood #3
Highlands #4

Seeing both play my team, I will take Ryle by 3-7. I expect it to be high scoring. I think Highlands has more upperclassman talent, but Ryle will make the least mistakes.

Cooper at #3? Love their QB but not sure how they are #3? 6-5 last year and 2-0 but against #5443 and #7975 in nation. Cal preps has them #10 in 5A.
I could be wrong but I think Cooper beats Highlands.
