What about the head pro and assistant pro at Wasiota Winds? They're from Middlesboro aren't they?
Donnie is actually from Harlan Co., so he is out.
I believe Jerry has always been from Middlesboro, so you could probably throw him in there. My vote now goes to Paul Napier though. Hard to beat 10 hole in ones in a lifetime, and he may not be done yet.
I could do one for Harlan Co. which would have to include the likes of Donnie and Ronnie Caldwell, Eddie Leisge, Aaron Watkins, and probably the most talented one from up there is Andrew Forrester. This guy had all the talent in the world and still does, he just has some problems on the side he has to deal with. I know I am probably leaving a couple names out from Harlan, but I know those guys can play.

Is DJ still in Montana? Last time I talked to him that's where he was.
I would add Shawn Tipton to the Powell Co. list. He won the OVC his first year at Morehead.
He was still there last I heard.

Larry Bradley PG 2011 class is moving to Kentucky but will not be going to Homes.
So maybe only getting two but not the third!
So where is he going?

Euton had a legitimate reason. Jackson didn't. Plain and simple. But that's for a different thread. Not this one.
One is a 6'4 PG from Taft and the other is a 6'5 Guard/Forward from Woodward who will remind you a lot of Pittman. (size, athleticism, shooting)
Yes they're coming from Cincy, but both have a similar situation to the Johnson Brothers. They attended the Covington elementary and middle schooling system, moved to Cincy for 2 years and now are returning because of family problems.
A third is possibly on his way back but not sure yet. I don't want to speak too much on the third though because I don't know much about him except that he is apparently a D1 recruit. (Wisconsin)
I'd say it was pretty legitimate since Jackson was ruled eligible for next year BEFORE Euton was. If those kids are moving for "family problems", I'd say these kids at SC qualify just fine.
-
When did I say that? Don't worry though, I still say SC can go ahead and get their rings sized for 2009.
You basically said that. How am I supposed to take what you said?
-
One it's a move from one State to another, it's a little different.
You can't move from in state and it be okay? Getting pretty tight in the northern part of the state arent they? Are these new guys coming from Cincy? That is a closer move than the kids going to SC are making.

So you admit you did take my post completly out of context? I did not compare Acie Law to McClintock, I just gave an example of someone who overachieved, im sorry you can't comprehend that.
You did insinuate that BCG recruited Law, which throws the whole post out the window.
-
Not to mention BCG didnt recruit Acie Law if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not going to complain about the outcome of the game, but keep in mind that M'boro is only a single A program, and I am very proud of our jackets. We played you to the wire. It's still not over by a long shot! Just wait until you run along with a good 4 or 5 A school and will see how good you really are.
Ha! They dominate the district and much of the region for years and all of a sudden they are a little ol' single A school. It's getting deep in here boys...

I don't really see how it would work. Consider a line drive lands near the right field foul line. Ump calls it foul every one stops running, play is reviewed and it is rulled a fair ball. What do you do. A runner on first might be able to score, but might not. Is the batter awarded a single, double, triple?
Whereas in football the play is completed and a review would show if the ball was actually caught or not, etc.
The talk is only for fair/foul/ground rule double homerun calls. That would not be covered.

Bell Co. has beaten you three times this year, the best team won. If you need to get back at us, schedule us in football.
:thumb: :ylsuper:
and I will throw in a
Get over it. Bell had Mboro's number this year and with Leddington at the helm and Powell gone from Mboro, it could be like that for years to come. Get used to it. What are the odds a Middlesboro fan would come on making excuses and blaming it on the umpires?

A lot of AAU stuff falls within the days before the end of school and in the dead period. Coaches cant be on the floor with kids during those times. That is why you dont see a lot of coaches involved in AAU. There are the summer school squads, and a lot of the better teams do participate in that, but I would imagine the burnout many have talked about is a factor there.
-
Sounded like it was going to be a tough road to go anyway.
-
It should be a bit of a cake walk, but I'm not in the kids position.
There is supposed to be some good high school competition in the Durham, NC area, but I really dont know. We may need the kid though if Jasper leaves and Liggins cant get eligible and he can actually play.

I believe it's already turned out.
And...

I really think Brandon Rush would be a better fit for the Cavs than any of those. It would give the Cavs another explosive athlete that's versatile whereas Mcgee and Koufos are both centers and the Cavs already have two solid ones in Z and Varejao.
Also I think Rush will have a better NBA career than Budinger.
Rush may end up better than Budinger, and I think its a wash on that pick right now for them. Rush is a little more of a 3, and is something that turns me off of him. The Cavs really have no handle on how long Varejao will be staying and Z is getting old and is on the back end. Dude barely moves anymore. Could do them well to grab a solid Center here. Honestly, the Cavs are a playoff team that can use a lot of help. They can almost go best available as long as they arent a SF.

I'm not that old and I remember paying .77 when I was in HS. And under a $1.00 less than 10 years ago.
Me too. Seems like when I first started driving it was in the .90 cent range. Crazy stuff.

How fuel efficient are motorcycles?
Many will get 50-60 mpg. They generally are only 2 gallon or so tanks, but that still a big upgrade.
I havent really done anything yet. I'm trying to find a job closer to where I live in Lexington instead of driving to Gtown everyday, but its not really happening right now. I decided to start buzzing my hair on my own again instead of going to the barber and spending about 30 bucks a month. I guess thats about it.
-
Possibly, but I took Lawson.
I know, just saying...
-
With the 20th pick the Denver Nuggets select Ty Lawson, PG Norht Carolina.
Chalmers will go before Lawson.
-
He's got bust written all over him.
I'm afraid so too. However, something tells me he will make it to late first round or second round because other teams will think so as well. Then he falls out of bust range.
-
With the 19th pick, the Cavs select Brandon Rush out of Kansas.
That would be a really good get for the Cavs IMO.
I really have to disagree. I say if these are their choices at this point the Cavs take JaVale McGee, Chase Budinger, or Kosta Koufos.

If I'm not mistaken Arenas is having surgery in the off season. I think that's why he shut it down in the playoffs. I don't see why he wouldn't play in the playoffs but would decide to play in the international games?
Must have missed that. Then I move Billups into his spot.

Haven't heard about the new rule. Big thing with Shotwell is that he never moved. I believe they are going the route that he couldnt afford to pay for school at LCA and pay for gas, etc. We'll see how it turns out.
Tyler Portwood signs with Union College

I heard Portwood got a lot of looks from Colorado this past year until the end of the season when they went another way. The kid can shoot the lights out, he has some work to do on D though.
